The Washington Post has closed down comments for the Do-it-Yourself Delivery article on Freebirth. The final page of the chat was a resounding whomping of the infamous Dr. Amy. And it was beautiful to behold. For some reason they turned the comments around so that the last appears first and the first comment, one of mine, appears last. Maybe they do that to all articles, but what it does is when people go into the comment section, they read first and foremost that Dr. Amy is a liar, which she is. A nice way to end the thread. Here is the link to it once again. It was a good chat.
I have said previously on this blog that I believe Dr. Amy is a couple Big Pharma Public Relations dudes engaging in sock puppetry on the web, shilling and whoring for drugged and surgical birth. Don’t know that to be true, but she has no pictues on her sites, has not taken on my challenge to post a video of herself on You Tube sharing her credentials and proof that she is who she says she is. I requested that she appear in that video with her mother and a close family friend who can verify that she indeed attended Harvard and is a doctor.
Whatever. Wether she is real or not does not matter. What does matter is that this article came out and people are talking about Unassisted Childbirth. Very, Very exciting.
