I took my camera out on thursday morning and snapped some pictures of fall leaves and roses. I think the roses look better late in the season than in early spring. The colors were so vibrant and beautiful.

Paul and I could not figure out why the audience erupted in laughter, but we found out by reading the Salt Lake Tribune this morning.
QUOTE:

“As Hinckley sat down, he tapped Eyring on the head with his cane, as if to knight him, and the audience erupted in laughter.”

The Glorious gospel message of hope and love.
To understand the meaning of death, we must know the purpose of life.
John 14: 2-3

2) In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

President Monson shared the story of a friend of his, who enlisted in the Navy when he was fifteen. His mother was a proud blue star mother, and then when he died four years later, she became a Gold Star Mother. He explained that she needed comfort to understand that her son would live again. She found that comfort in the comforting doctrines of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This was an awesome story! Read the whole thing later this week on the Conference Web Page: Go Here.

This video contains two of my favorite hymns about the Savior. Come Thou Fount and I Heard Him Come. Christian Music is my all time favorite!

I’m not going to live blog any more of the sessions, it is too distracting from the talks, and I want to just relax and enjoy them. Please go to the churchs web site if you would like to watch them on the site in a week or so when they are streamed.
