Day of Faith: Personal Quests for a Purpose – 3. Rachel Esplin

Harvard Hillel: Day of Faith Series from Harvard. This vid is a young LDS Woman sharing her faith: enjoy!
I loved just about everything she had to say, except the assumption that all of us Mormons back on the farm out west were bigots and it took her attending Harvard and hangin with the elightened to get to a place of intellectual stimulation powerful enough to overcome the entrenched bigotry and prejudices of the mormon people. Poppycock! Mormons are the most big hearted, “everyone’s welcome in the tent” people I know on planet earth, and I’ve spent forty years lovin’ and learnin’ from em. The worst bigots I know are those who hate me for my faith and politics…and just about everyone of those types in my life have a big fat LIBERAL pasted on their forehead.
