In more than 100 cities across the U.S. protesters converged on newspaper and television offices Saturday to denounce the liberal-left bias in national and international reporting. These latest rallies are a response to blatantly biased media coverage of the center-right taxpayer protests,which began in February as a response to Washington’s unprecedented deficit spending.

Taranto at the Wall Street Journal did an interview with Andrew Bribart on this topic: Taking On the ‘Democrat-Media Complex’ The conservative Internet entrepreneur on bringing down Acorn, Hollywood liberals, and embarrassing the mainstream media.

“Dressing up as a pimp and prostitute in order to seek Acorn’s help in starting a child sex-slavery ring wasn’t Andrew Breitbart’s idea. But without the Internet entrepreneur’s flair for publicity, the hidden-camera sting might not have produced such impressive results. Within days of his publishing the video exposé, government agencies were cutting ties with the left-wing advocacy and community-organizing group, Congress was voting to end its federal funding, and news organizations were rushing to catch up with a sensational story they had initially resisted or ignored.”

No, the MSM is much more interested in 24/7 news coverage of a Colorado Hoax…

Richard Heene has told reporters that a runaway balloon incident involving his son was “absolutely no hoax.”
I’ve had my own issues with poor journalism as a conservative activist. The one experience most documented on my blog was a rally held in 2007, when a couple members of our group were interviewed by a journalism student from CU, and he did not even mention we were there. I documented this experience in these videos:

My friend Dale and I were so concerned about the lack of judgement shown by this CU Intern that we held a bake sale for him to donate to the cause of helping him to be “honest” in his reporting. He declined our offer of $23.00 to help him, but I invested it in some Halliburton Stock in his name – no joke:) and certainly NOT a hoax.
