Allen McDuffee at Huff PO: Blackout: Military Personnel Banned From H1N1 Vaccine Sites

If you want to draw attention to a problem, try hiding it. That’s the strategy of several military bases when it comes to the H1N1 vaccine.

Shortly after the Pentagon announced that all Armed Services personnel would soon be facing a mandatory H1N1 vaccination program, I started receiving email from soldiers, airmen, marines and sailors because of a previous story I had written on the anthrax vaccine. Mandatory vaccine programs are a sensitive subject in the military, so it’s not a huge surprise that swift and visceral reactions to the program gained speed.

With a vaccine that was so new and little known about it, like many Americans, troops were heading to the web to find answers to their very legitimate questions — not only for themselves, but for their families who have the option of receiving the vaccine on base. What they found instead is that several websites and blogs with key information asking critical questions had been blocked from their viewing.

Among those that were repeatedly mentioned as blocked sites are the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), the site for Gary Matsumoto’s book Vaccine-A, and vaccine expert Dr. Meryl Nass. NVIC is a national, non-profit founded in 1980s that, through public education, advocates “vaccine safety and informed consent protections in the mass vaccination system.” Matsumoto’s site contains a forum in which thousands upon thousands of service members have posted testimonies regarding their experiences with the anthrax vaccine. And Nass is one of the world’s foremost experts on vaccines who has testified in front of Congressional committees — and, I might add, never has had a malpractice suit brought against her.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) sites, however, are all available for military personnel. The official word from governmental agencies is welcome but critics, regardless of whether they were considered experts, are not.

According to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, the only blocking of websites Pentagon-wide was in 2007, when a number of heavy-trafficked sites that “used lots of bandwidth” had to be denied to reduce the wear on networks “to ensure they continued to be available for mission requirements.”

That turns out not to be entirely accurate.

Some of you may recall the reporting earlier this year when wired.com’s Danger Room blog reported that the Pentagon was blocking not only YouTube, but even their own TroopTube.

When TroopTube launched last November, for instance, it was billed as an answer to the bandwidth and security concerns surrounding other video sites. TroopTube “crunches video files into several sizes and automatically plays the one that best suits viewers’ Internet connection speeds,” the Associated Press reported at the time. And “a Pentagon employee screens each [upload] for taste, copyright violations and national security issues.”Nonetheless, the public affairs office at the Pentagon further instructed me that “anything that may be blocked at the Service or base level should be addressed there — it’s a local issue.”

Since I had the most information (and the most complaints) about Wright-Patterson Air Force in Ohio, that’s where I directed my questions. After repeated email and phones calls, nearly two weeks later a spokesperson for Wright-Patterson told me that:

The Air Force general policy is all websites are placed into categories based upon their content and intended audience. All unethical categories are blocked as are any sites that are uncategorized. Currently the sites referenced are blocked because they are uncategorized.A wholly unsatisfactory answer that side-stepped the question, I took this statement to mean that blocking these websites had nothing to do with bandwidth use as in the Pentagon statement and everything to do with the content.

I asked the follow-up question: Since this is a recent decision to block them, why would they not just be categorized rather than being uncategorized? As a result, they would not be blocked for educational purposes of service personnel who have a mandatory H1N1 vaccination program?

Wright-Patterson did not respond to this question.

Making sure that servicemen and servicewomen consent to the vaccine and are informed is apparently not a concern for the Department of Defense. But the message is very clear for one service member who contacted me: “All you need to know is what we’re telling you, so shut up and take the vaccine with no questions asked.”

Nass, one of the experts whose site has been blocked, points out the real shame in all of this: “It’s unfortunate that the service members who are defending our civil rights are not afforded the same consideration.”

Note: If you’re on a base that has blocked websites related to the H1N1 vaccine, I’d love to know what sites are blocked and what base you’re on. You can post the info in the comments below or contact me directly.

Swedish boy, age 4, close to death from Swine flu vaccine

KevinKevin

The almost complete cover up in Sweden regarding deaths and other severe “side effects” from the poisinous Pandemrix “swine flu” vaccine is frightening. A few stories are getting out in spite of this, like the story of Kevin, aged 4 living in Stockholm with his mom Mia who is pregnant in her third trimester.

“- I was sure he was dead” she says in an article published at first only in the printed version of the news paper Aftonbladet and later added to their site after being “reminded” by readers to do so.

Kevin sat with his father in a café when he suddenly started to shake uncontrollably. His little body arched backwards in convulsions and his eyes rolled backwards exposing only white. His mom was not far away and someone quickly fetched her saying “Mia come quickly, Kevin is really bad”.

When she arrived to Kevin, a ring of people surrounded him as he was lying flat on the ground. “- His lips were completely white. I have never seen a person that white in my life. I took him in my arms and he was completely limp. My only thought was, ‘He is dead, He is no longer alive’ “, says his mom.

Kevin did no longer breathe. Two nurses happened to be there and they instructed Mia how to give CPR immediately. Mia started to do that while she at the same time felt she was starting to go into labor. She gave her son air as others called for an ambulance. “I lost the sense of time. But after a while his lips got their color back. He opened his eyes.”

During the ride to the hospital, Kevin only expressed one fear: “Mommy, I don’t want to have another shot…”

Doctors who cared for him at his arrival at the Hospital agreed that the only explanation to this was that he two days earlier got the poisonous Pandemrix “swine flu” vaccine. They also said “- He is the second one today, this is in no way unique.”

The news paper contacted The Medical Products Agency in Sweden and spoke with Professor Jan Liliemark who claimed he had never heard of similar cases. “- Children can come in to states of Coma from a variety of reasons. It could be connected to the vaccination but there could also be other reasons.”

Kevin’s parents chose to speak about their ordeal so that other parents would be better informed than they were. They never heard that things like this could happen after a vaccination.

Mia says “- What if this would have happened at home while playing alone in his room while I was cleaning downstairs?”

Original article in Swedish

We have received unconfirmed reports that the number of vaccine “adverse effects” in sweden is now well over 500 including “severe adverse effects” which means life threatening conditions or death. The number of deaths is reported to us to be higher than 50 so far. This information is unconfirmed and the official numbers kept secret according to the also secret agreement between Sweden and GSK, GlaxoSmithKline who produces the poisonous Pandemrix vaccine.

I today spoke with a vaccine manufacturer (a supplier of the API, the active ingredient) at their plant here in Switzerland and they stated that they felt they had to play along in producing and supplying active ingredients to the larger “big” pharma companies since these companies are “so powerful”. The person I spoke with thought it was something seriously wrong with the way the whole “swine flu” scare has unfolded and the role of WHO. The same person also acknowledged that very much research in the medical field which does not support planned products of other businesses is hidden or buried. The two people I spoke with would “absolutely not” take the “swine flu” shot. They did say that the “swine flu” meant good business.

Central Texas Poison Center get calls of H1N1 vaccine

Central Texas Poison Center get calls of H1N1 vaccine

As Texans get their H1N1 vaccinations, many are getting some side effects that they have not seen before. So, instead of calling their doctor, more are calling the Central Texas Poison Center.

The lines at the center are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and it’s free.
“We have had some patients that have had serious reactions and some with minor reactions,” said Doug Borys with
Central Texas Poison Center Director. “We have also had people who call who are just wondering.”
So far, the center has gotten over two dozens calls from people reporting adverse effects from the flu vaccine.

Every call the center gets over side effects from vaccinations is then reported to the health department.
“Whether it’s due to a flu vaccine, Tamiflu or Tylenol, no matter what, it should be followed up on because we don’t want that to happen ever again to another person,” said Borys.
But the calls the center is getting now about H1N1, Borys says is just the tip of the iceberg.
Borys said Wednesday that the H1N1 vaccine has only been out for several weeks, so they expect even more calls about it this month and next.
“As time goes on, more people get their vaccinations and more people are exposed to the flu,” said Borys. “Our call volume is going to go up.”
And when the call volume goes up, he said pharmacists and nurses on the other end of the line will be ready.

The reports that are sent to the State Health Department are then sent to the Centers for Disease Control.

Child paralysed by Flu Mist in the US

wheelchair“Our granddaughter, Jordyn, (Bobbi and Jeff’s daughter) received the nasal spray vaccine for H1N1 on Tuesday of this week and within a half an hour started feeling bad. She developed a fever of 103 and continued for most of Wednesday with it.  She seemed better yesterday (Thursday), but was still not herself.  She woke up this morning and could not walk (her legs were paralyzed).  Bobbi and Jeff have taken her to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing and we are waiting word.  We think she has Guillain Barre and, if so, the, paralysis can spread to her other limbs and her face. We are requesting prayer from you and as many believers as you have contact with.”
