I was just watching c-span and the host was talking with his guest about health care and the teaparty “people”. Many callers took the time to share views on “what the teaparty people” think, and although none claimed to be members of this maligned crowd, it was interesting to me to have others attempting to describe who I am and what I think.
I thought I’d take a minute to share my views on health care as it relates to teaparty attendees, simply because I am a fierce teapartier and I write a health care blog.
I can’t speak for others and I don’t know that any of my friends who have also taken to the streets this past year feel as I do, but I want to make one point. The dark night of medical fascism has been hanging as a blight over the American People for a long time. Each step that has been taken legislatively to remove our rights of self determination and place a doctor, a social worker, a pharmacist, and a judge over our bodies and minds has brought us to this place. The big question in my mind is,
How BLEAK will the dark night of Medical Fascism become?
Lord knows for those parents who have children removed from their custody simply because of refusal to vaccinate, refusal to medicate with psychiatric meds, refusal to use chemo for cancer, refusal to have a newborn incarcerated in a NICU, refusal to have any doctor recomended surgery, drug, psychiatric intervention etc etc etc the bleakness has been overwhelming. Tens of thousands of families in America have learned first hand what happens when Mom or Dad says “No thanks, don’t want to use the product you are selling” and that big, nasty, overpriced medical arm comes crashing down and yells, “YES YOU WILL!
Parents have lost custody of their children over and over and over again when that Medical Behemoth declares them unfit for refusal to use the services, medications, and medical devices they produce to sell to consumers. This blog is dedicated to exposing some of those abuses of power and giving parents a place to learn how to protect themselves and their children from the iantrogenic (doctor caused) abuses that seem to be attached to every drug and every medical practice, especially those around birth and psychiatric care.
As President Obama prepares to use the Delphi Technique to manipulate the Nation to his predetermined outcome of Government Run Health Care, these are the questions that citizens and politicians need to ask:
Do consumers have the right to say NO?
Will citizens be supported in choosing to use alternative healing as opposed to drugs and surgery when making health care decisions?
Will citizens be able to retain their sovereignty over their own bodies and minds?
Will parents be enabled to make those health care choices that they believe will give their children the best outcomes physically and emotionally? And if a Mother or a Father decides that the health care services being offered are too expensive, carry too much risk, and/or they have found alternatives that are just as good or better than the toxic brew offered at the hospital….WILL THOSE PARENTS BE SUPPORTED IN CHOOSING SOMETHING BESIDES WHAT THE DOCTOR PRESCRIBES???
For this teapartier, the ultimate principle in all of the health care debate is this:
If I don’t have the right to claim sovereignty over my own body and mind, and if I as a Mother don’t have the right to make health care choices for and in behalf of my children until they are old enough to make those choices for themselves, then I am already a Medical Slave and it doesn’t really matter who is paying the bills.
Whether it is my husbands employer or the taxpayers paying the bills, the Medical Profession will keep chugging along, paying politicians on both sides of the isle and playing it straight down the middle legislatively. I don’t think the Pharmaceutical Companies who run the Medical Schools and the Media care too much who is paying the bills. Wether the health care system is the current Medical Fascism or Complete Socialism or straight on Commuism, somebody is going to pay.
The Medical Police State will stay high up on its pedastal until we the people decide to get off our knees and learn a thing or two about how to be really healthy.
True Health, Lasting life giving fun joyful whole living health is to be found in a kernal of whole wheat, a gently birthed babe, a tummy full of mothers milk, and joyful, healthy, family life….
And the Government doesn’t have a whole heck of lot to do with those things.
Whenever my children leave I always feel this desolation come over my heart. I know our dog Sam feels it too. As the girls arrived home for Christmas, he just kept jumping for JOY around the living room. As they were preparing to leave the other day, he kept looking at me with this questioning look on his little mug…”Where are they going???”
I didn’t understand how difficult this part of Mothering was going to be.
It is like they just walked out the door with this huge portion of my heart tucked in their backpacks.
We were able to have several spiritual heart to heart chats while they were home and I think it helped them to understand me better. Those talks always seem to knit us together tighter. It is pure joy to go from being a Mom of teens, who supervises curfews and friends and rules to go to being a mom to adult children who is now “Friend”, who is just there to listen and share in the joy of each developmental milestone.
I love my daughters with my whole heart.
Paul purchased Sarahs Key, the book, for me for christmas. I noted how much I loved the movie in this blog post.
As I have been slowly digesting this book these past few weeks, I feel the same overwhelm of love that I felt while watching the movie.
This book was so thoughtfully written, and the story of the adulterous husband who wants his wife to abort because he does not want to be an “old father” really touched a nerve. Not that my husband would ever say to me, “it’s me or the baby” as the husband did in this book/movie, but if I had understood how passionate my own husband would feel about not having babies into his “old age”, I may have looked for a life partner more my own age.
Paul is nine years older than me and is now well into his fifties.
He has been extremely traumatized by the life events we have shared together and so I give him a ton of credit for the faith leap that having our five children placed upon his shoulders.
When I lost my mind in 1989 after the birth of our first daughter, we did not know if we would be able to have any more children. Paul confided in me that he wanted to run away from home many times the year that I was doped up on psychiatric meds and he was married to a stepford wife. (I was on a cocktail of several drugs – Lithium, Stelazine, Prozac, and Haldol – that left me in a permanent fog of disability and numbed out nothingness) During the past 23 years it has been a consistent faith walk to search out our hearts and decide how much we could handle as parents.
When I was expecting Ben in 2002 Rusty Yates was being hammered in the media as the source of his wifes psychosis. Andrea murdered her five children while in the throes of post partum psychosis. Many of us in the psychiatric survivor movement believe it was the anti depressant she was taking that was the source of this homicidal rampage.
Paul was deeply affected by this incident and the similarities between our two families was striking. I was homeschooling, had four older children, was pregnant with number five, we are deeply religious, live in a small home, and had a former psychotic episode after a birth.
Dr. Bob Scaer MD of Boulder connects post partum psychosis to Father/Daughter rape. I had no conscious memory of being sexually assaulted by my Dad until five years ago. But the symptoms, including psychosis in 1989, have been constant. I have struggled with a variety of emotional and physical symptoms for my whole life. I was finally properly diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress ten years ago, and have been working with a variety of healers and healing modalities to recover from the incest and rape that defined my childhood. I also had a layering of trauma when I was gang raped in the Michigan state mental hospital by four orderlies when I was admitted in a psychotic state in 1989.
I continue to have memories of being sexually assaulted and as each incident presents in my conscious mind, it is like it just happened yesterday and so I have to slowly process out the feelings and emotions buried by my childhood brain. I find myself often in a childlike state of mind while moving the memory through my system. The holidays are a key time for me to process as that was when the majority of the assaults took place during my childhood.
As another layer of trauma moved through my body and mind these past few weeks during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday, I found myself in varying states of emotional distress. On a particularly difficult day I watched Sarahs Key, the movie, and in the movie a mother commits suicide leaving a nine year old child motherless. My son Ben is nine and as I watched the movie I felt the power of the story just wash over me. I have struggled with suicidal thoughts since I was fifteen, and although I have never made an attempt, I have been hospitalized for it twice.
During Thanksgiving week I was processing out some terrible memories alone, and while I don’t believe I would ever do it, the fact that it was on my mind in a big way was troubling. I did not have anyone to talk to, and felt overwhelmed by the emotions. One of the big fears for us as survivors is that the “treatment” will be worse than what we are experiencing. For me that has been the case many times when I confided in someone what I was feeling. The overreaction from those around me caused more trauma than if I had just kept my thoughts to myself and so I have learned to be very circumspect about who I share my innermost feelings with.
When in the throes of panic and overwhelm it is often easy to over share with professionals. I stopped seeing therapists a few years ago because I did not want to waste one more second of my time or money. It felt like I was giving my abusers additional power over my life by giving in and going to talk to someone. I am NOT knocking therapy. The people I worked with ten years ago were CRUCIAL to helping me and Paul to begin working through this process and I don’t regret one dollar spent as we started down this path. But after spending tens of thousands of dollars on a variety of healing systems, it became apparent that trying to speed the healing process by spending more and more money was not going to work.
The main reason I wanted to hurry things along was because I wanted to have another baby.
I was unprepared for several additional traumas that set me back physically and emotionally. Traumas and blowback tied to my internet work and political activism.

Traumas that have left me on deaths door over and over these past six years. All of this trauma mixed together has left me feeling like an emotional basket case. Again, I don’t blame Paul, our life is what it is, and I am daily grateful for the blessing of being a mother to each of our five children. I love all of them with my whole heart and praise God for the gift and blessing of having them in my life.
I am curious to see what a pregnancy would be like with no trauma rolling through my body. I know I may have to wait until I get my Celestial Body to have this experience, but I long to welcome another baby into our home now. Along with the portions of my life that have been stolen by evil people intent on causing me damage and harm, I feel like my “really big family” which I had planned and prepared to have for my whole life has also been “stolen” away from me.
I suppose this is the reason why Sarahs Key resonated so much in my mind at this time. It wasn’t just the story of a suicidal mother that triggered so much in my heart. Watching the movie three times during Thanksgiving week was the PERFECT reminder of the consequences to my little boy if I decided to leave this earth life early. It was also the story of the mother who left her husband in order to give birth to a beautiful baby that moved me in ways that overwhelm and comfort my heart.
Women will go to extremes in order to protect and give life. I don’t plan to leave my husband in order to have more children. Five is enough for me and for us. But I can understand why a woman would be willing to throw a marriage down the tubes if her husband was pressuring her to have an abortion.
At this point I can hardly envision a world where as Isaiah predicted, “None shall hurt nor destroy“, but I can see it from a distance. We are quickly approaching the time when those who hurt children will never be able to get away with what they have in the past. All of these sexual abuse scandals that are coming out are proof that our world is moving towards a time when those who have placed themselves in a position of trust and are able to destroy the lives of innocents will be caught, held accountable, and then locked away from society.
This Edition of the Magazine is focused on the whole Gardasil Debate that has taken place these past few weeks since Michele Bachmann made an issue of it in the last GOP Debate.
Since the Gardasil conversation is one that for me goes back to before the Vaccine was even put on the market and I have some skin in the game in the form of serious blowback on me and my family for speaking out against the mass vaccination of the worlds preteens, it was pure JOY to watch this debate be thrust more fully into the spotlight because of the courage of one female candidate for President.
Most people cannot comprehend an evil so complete that it would presume to deprive future Mothers of the ability to create a healthy child because side effects from vaccines are so devastating that they murder, maim, and make impossible for a woman to get pregnant in the first place.
Yet since the 70′s the wicked in our world, some tied to the Howard Hughes Medical Institute have been hell bent on finding the ways and means to sterilize both animals and humans without surgery. President Obamas Science Czar John Holdren wrote about the need for a vaccination that would sterilize women in his book Ecoscience.
Citizens of good will cannot even fathom that these Eugenics Purists would quietly go about the business of making it happen, yet they have, and many of us who have been screaming about it on the internet have felt the repercussions from standing in the way and trying to disrupt the “Genocide by Injection” currently taking place around the world. Many of the articles, posts, and conversations that are a part of this edition of the Magazine are tied to this reality.
I also had the great joy of interviewing Barbara Hartwell and Jonathan Elinoff on my radio show the week of the ten year anniversary of 9-11. These outspoken and hard working activists have a far different take on the events of September 11th than the average American, and I felt it was important to give them some time to explain the reasoning behind their views.

My friend Becky had an eight pound boy at home last night. She asked me to be available to help with her three older children if she gave birth during the day. But since she gave birth at 2 am, I was not able to attend. While I would have loved to be around just to feel the energy and spirit of a homebirth, it felt right that this most sacred and gentle of moments take place quietly, without too many extra people hanging around. And so this morning as she proudly shared pictures of Her son on Facebook, I felt joy and peace that another blessed child had made it safely to the earth into his parents hands.
For the past six years I have relentlessly debated Vaccines on this blog and on the web, mostly at Free Republic but also at the personal blog of the late Cathy Seipp, (who I believe was a paid shill for Drug Companies), as well as the comment sections of her articles at National Review Online. Cathys Blog no longer exists, and her archive at NRO is spotty in regards to finding the posts where she unilaterally pushes the vaccine on teens. The old chats at Free Republic are still on the web, but the trackbacks to my blog no longer function because I have been hacked so many times.

Since I started writing this blog in 2005, one of the main goals has been to help families get to the root cause of illness. I was a vaccine damaged child and feel that my life was altered because of a bad reaction to my inoculations. I have struggled with lifelong DEADLY chemical and food sensitivities. With more runs to the ER than anyone in the family, I have been one big histamine storm after another since I was two. Asthma, Allergies, and skin problems were and are my daily struggle and although I have been greatly aided by my willingness to cleanse my liver and gall bladder and use alternative healing as much as possible, I still struggle with asthma and allergies.

This is perhaps the most insulting claim against home birthing Mothers, that we are somehow putting the “experience” of childbirth over the health and well being of our children.
It is a tired and pathetic claim and at the risk of insulting just about anyone who has chosen to have an epidural, does ANYONE at all believe that a Mother who requests every possible pain relieving drug an OB can offer is thinking about what is best for her child while she gives birth?

Instead he stayed home and bathed several times and I applied all of the oils in the Raindrop Technique Kit from Young Living. By Monday night he was feeling much better and yesterday went back to his busy, activity packed life.
I have observed my children over the years push and push and push with this intense high school Mormon Teen Schedule. I believe it is completely appropriate for them to occasionally take a day to rest and re-hydrate to prevent more serious illness. I let them decide when this needs to happen and never push them to do more than they feel they can accomplish.
I was so pleased with the efforts of Michelle Bachmann during the latest debate and her interviews with the press around the whole Gardasil issue that I wrote up a couple of comments sharing a few links and blasted around the web looking for news sights and blogs where I could post without being a member.
The people at Free Thoughts blog took issue with my comment and we shared a nice, thoughtful friendly chat in the comment section.
…MUST be worth an indictment, Right? Somebody going to jail? Or at least being arrested and tried for crimes against Humanity? Or at least the deaths of these People?
Somebody needs to be held accountable…Rick Perry might know who those somebodies are.
PS Why is it that these people ALWAYS get a pass and nobody ever goes to Prison for these murders? They pay off the families with blood money and gag them up after the settlement and life goes on…

“Modern medicine uses the double-blind and placebo-controlled trial as the gold standard by which the effectiveness of a treatment is determined. On the surface, this scientific method is very reasonable. However, serious problems in these studies are widely acknowledged by academics but remain unknown to the general public. Fundamental questions about the meaning of the word “efficacy” are rarely raised.
For instance, just because a drug treatment seems to eliminate a specific symptom does not necessarily mean that it is “effective.” In fact, getting rid of a specific symptom can be the bad news. Aspirin may lower your fever, but physiologists recognize that fever is an important defense of the body in its efforts to fight infection. Sleep-inducing drugs may lead you to fall asleep, but they do not lead to refreshed sleep, and these drugs ultimately tend to aggravate the cycle of insomnia and fatigue, while conveniently (for the drug companies) tend to create addiction. Long-term safety and efficacy of many modern drugs for common ailments remains unknown, despite the high hopes and sincere expectations from the medical community and the rest of us for greater certainty.”

Was thrilled that the Hide the Decline guys remade their video after being threatened with a lawsuit by Climate Gates Michael Mann and forced to pull the old video off you Tube. Here is the remake, they are hoping to inspire a law suit with it by using Manns image.
One of the things that conservatives especially need to understand is that the same “scientists” who gave us bogus climate data are the same global elites tied to Big Pharma. They have wrapped the “irrefutable scientific peer reviewed evidence” around all of their research in an attempt to spew their chemicals all over the minds and bodies of the families of the world and it is the worst peer reviewed junk science that has ever been produced.
“Doctors today commonly assert that they practice “scientific medicine,” and patients think that the medical treatments they receive are “scientifically proven.” However, this ideal is a dream, not reality, and a clever and profitable marketing ruse, not fact…”
…”Quackery” is commonly defined as the use of unproven treatments by individuals or companies who claim fantastic results and who charge large sums of money. Although modern physicians may point their collective finger at various “alternative” or “natural” treatment modalities as examples of quackery, it is conventional medical treatments today that are out-of-this-world expensive, and despite real questionable efficacy of their treatments, doctors give patients the guise of “science….”
…Big Pharma, Big Bucks, and the Guise of Science Adherents of conventional medicine have consistently asserted that its methods are scientifically verified, and they have ridiculed other methods that are suggested to have therapeutic or curative effects. In fact, conventional physicians have consistently worked to disallow competitors, even viciously attacking those in their own profession who have questioned conventional treatments or provided alternative modalities. More recently, medical organizations simply work with insurance companies to help them determine what should and shouldn’t get reimbursed, a clever way to kill competition bloodlessly.
And yet, strangely enough, whatever has been in vogue in conventional medicine in one decade has been declared ineffective, dangerous and sometimes barbaric in the ensuing decades. Surprisingly, despite this pattern in history, proponents and defenders of “scientific medicine” tend to have little or no humility, continually asserting that today’s cure is truly effective … and in any case, strongly asserting that any “alternatives” to this ever-changing treatment are quackery, sheer quackery, whether they know anything about these alternative treatment modalities or not….”

Three areas of Modern Medicine are the most problematic for parents and children. They are Birth, Psychiatry, and Vaccines. These three modalities of healing contain some of the worst junk science in all of medicine. And ironically, they are the three main forms of Allopathy that are most revered and used by Families around the world.
The number one thing that hospitals do in this country is deliver babies. And with the statistics for surgical birth looking extremely grim, I believe we are on a trajectory with Birth where we could easily lose natural and normal birth in another generation or two.
The New York Times ran an article yesterday extolling the efforts of one New York hospital to implement policies that have lowered the C-section rate. (I often believe these types of articles are the elites tossing a bone to the activists working to normalize birth – they know how horrifying their statistics are and if they can claim a 23% c-section rate is a “good thing” it provides perfect cover, what some of us call, “Controlled opposition” to the status quo. It also manipulates the readers into thinking that something positive is going on when we have a C-section rate of 23%)
Staten Island University Hospital has kept its rate down to a 23% level and while I applaud the efforts of a pioneer like Mitchell A Maiman, as A birth activist I am appalled at any C-section rate over five percent.
Ideally the rate should be 3% and our society should be actively educating mothers on proper nutrition, natural birth, and how to nourish/birth a healthy baby without drugs, to reduce it even more. (Please note, with the current level of ignorance on the part of Young Mothers and the absolute addiction of our people to drugs, junk food, and mothers overextending themselves with excessive exercise and working/volunteering outside the home, I believe this will take several generations to accomplish.)
To my way of thinking the only rational reason for a woman to have a surgery to give birth would be if she was in an accident and the surgery would save her and the babe. Lifestyle choice on the part of the doctor or the mother would have NOTHING to do with it.

“Mother-demanded C-sections are unusual enough that the policy is probably more useful to Dr. Maiman for the message it sends to doctors and patients, a clear sign that he values a noninterventionist policy as long as it is safe. It has become common for hospitals to prohibit what are known as VBACs (for Vaginal Birth After Caesarean, pronounced VEE-back) for reasons having to do with anesthesia availability and, more tacitly, a fear of lawsuits. Dr. Maiman actively encourages VBACs. Residents are trained not only to avoid unnecessary C-sections, but to let higher-ups know if they witness another doctor about to perform one.
Obstetricians with high Caesarean rates, Dr. Maiman said, invite scrutiny; doctors either come to see things his way or end up leaving the hospital.
“If a woman has a third or a fourth Caesarean, the maternal morbidity and mortality is astronomically higher,” Dr. Maiman said. “That’s when you see women dying in childbirth from obstetrical hemorrhage.”
Whether or not you like his policy — maybe you believe a mother’s choice should extend to controlling the hour of her delivery and how much it will hurt — you have to give Dr. Maiman credit for not just creating protocols to protect women’s health, but enforcing them. There is not a lot of incentive for hospitals to let conviction trump convenience, especially when convenience comes with the added bonus of lower legal risk.”
The Medical Profession has a long history of controlling its own opposition, especially when it comes to Psychiatry and Vaccinations.
Leonard Horowitz has provided some of the best exposure on how the profession manipulates activists and controls the message they share. His article on the National Vaccine Information Centers ties to the industry is one of the best on the web.

The overwhelming junk science tied to the psychiatric drugging of our children and the mothers who care for them is so over the top fraudulent it is amazing that it just keeps chugging along…

I can’t even calculate the amount of money my husband spent on press releases, flights to DC, or the amount I have spent on incidentals just working to stop The MOTHERS Act. Countless radio shows and magazine, newspaper and TV interviews later, here we are in 2010 with The MOTHERS Act slipped into the Health Care Bill and passed with carte blanche approval from Democrats in the House after a tough fight in the Senate.
I find it ironic and funny to read on Katherine Stone’s and Susan Stone’s blogs a few posts congratulating each other for a job well done. All told several people are listed as getting all the credit for passing a bill that died every year in Congress for six years before passing the house in 2007 and being killed by our coalition in 2008. As you know, when the House of Reps passes something, sometimes all that they do is announce the name of the bill and its stated purpose and vote. Nobody wants to vote against something titled “The MOTHERS Act” though in reality it should be called “The Pharmaceutical Companies’ Dream For America Act” or maybe “The Axe The Mothers and Babies Act.”
I would like to use this blog post to challenge anyone reading it to learn the facts about the drug companies. Learn the facts about birth, vaccines, and psychiatry. And then make those choices that will give ultimate health and wellness to your family.
I was just watching c-span and the host was talking with his guest about health care and the teaparty “people”. Many callers took the time to share views on “what the teaparty people” think, and although none claimed to be members of this maligned crowd, it was interesting to me to have others attempting to describe who I am and what I think.
