Scouts….and some thoughts

Jen%2C%20Ben%2C%20and%20Jeff%20four%20months%20after%20birth.jpg
When Ben was a newborn Jeff started as a Cub Scout. In the past seven years, Scouting has been a huge part of his life as he quickly approaches the time when he will achieve his Eagle Rank. Andy also enjoys scouting, especially camping.
I was thrilled to be called as the Den Mother for our ward last month. We have had a few den meetings and our first Pack Meeting for the fall season is next week. Ben is so excited about Scouts. He has watched his big brothers these past seven years and is really looking forward to all of the activities tied to it. Even though we don’t have a Tiger Cub group as part of our den, I bought him the book, and we are going to work on it alone until he is able to become a wolf next year on his 8th birthday.
Benjamin will be 7 this sunday. He is so excited for his birthday! He has been decorating his cake while I typed this post.
It is difficult for me to imagine my life without this precious soul as a part of it. He came to us during the most intensely difficult time of our marriage. As I watched him today playing soccer in the final game of his fall season I just felt waves of joy wash over my heart thinking about the blessing of being a mother.
During the interview I did yesterday with the radio talk show host up in Idaho, I had the sense once again of experiencing that primal protective feeling all mothers have when thinking about keeping our children safe and secure in a threatening world. I feel it is my God Given DUTY to educate myself about the various threats that exist to deprive our family of life and liberty and attempts to send my children into lifelong medical slavery. As I tried to explain this idea to the Steve, he was nice enough to let me speak, but he was not accepting everything I said.
It’s fine with me if others do not agree with what I know to be true.
I’m not here to bully, brainwash, stifle, or shove my world view on any reader. But By God, that is exactly what the Medical Cartel has done and continues to do to We The People, and in the name of all that is holy and sacred in my life, I defy them to attempt to poison my children with their noxious toxins during a fake pandemic.
Every decision I have made during Benjamins Pregnancy, Birth, and the past seven years of his childhood, including five years of breastfeeding, has been done in an attempt to strengthen his immune system and give him the best and most holistic start possible. How dare these evil, greedy, power hungry elites plan to come into my home, our life, and my sons precious body and disable him for life with a toxin like squalene. As I said in the interview, it will be easier to recover from a gun battle with these slobs than attempt to recover from our family being shot up with squalene at a million times the dose as our heroic veterans who have been so disabled by the anthrax vaccine.

Oh what a tangled web we weave…

Bill Ayers no dream

“There I was, sitting in Reagan National Monday morning, sipping a Starbucks by the United counter before going through security. I had a little time, so I was browsing through the news. Some military guys had borrowed a chair from my table. I looked up from time to time to enjoy the sun streaming through. That’s when I saw Bill Ayers, an instant blight. Scruffy, thinning beard, dippy earring, and the wirerims, heading to order. I gathered my things, got my camera ready, and snapped a shot right when he got his coffee.

I asked–what are you doing in D.C. Mr. Ayers?

For a moment I thought he might be on my flight back to Chicago. Charming. Initially I guess he thought I was laying claim to his coffee or something. He gave me an uneasy cheesy smile when he realized I was taking his picture. I asked him if he was speaking at GW? (Only I said GFW, guess I had the VFW on my mind) He said oh you mean GW, he said no…was trying to decide if I was a fan, then said he was giving a lecture in Arlington to a Renaissance group on education–that’s what I do, education–you shouldn’t believe everything you hear about me, you know nothing about me. I said, I know plenty–I’m from Chicago, a conservative blogger, and I’ll post this. (Oh, yeah, Bill Ayers, quite the Renaissance man, nail-bomber extraordinaire. Gee, I see another friend of Barack, U.S. Sec. of Education Arne Duncan was there too. “The conference theme is “A Time for Reflection, Celebration and Rebirth.” How touching. At best, useless, at worst, so wrong.)

Then, unprompted he said–I wrote Dreams From My Father. I said, oh, so you admit it. He said–Michelle asked me to. I looked at him. He seemed eager.”

Bill strikes me as a tragic sort of fellow. The timing for various “true confessions” and outing himself in the conservative blogosphere…it could not be more ironic.
william-ayers-american-flag-poster.jpg
Standing on the American Flag in a story at Chicago Magazine the month before 9-11.
Outing Mr. President as a bald faced liar by blathering to some conservative blogger about writing Obamas book the very day that the left is losing its marbles over Afganistan. (I thought the Afgan war was the “good” war, the justified war.)
From the Wall Street Journal:

“Democrats have found someone worth fighting in Afghanistan. His name is Stan McChrystal.

The other night, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi went after the commander of U.S. and allied forces in Afghanistan, “with all due respect,” for supposedly disrespecting the chain of command. Around the Congressional Democratic Caucus, we’re told Members refer to General McChrystal as “General MacArthur,” after the commander in Korea sacked by Harry Truman.

White House aides have fanned these flames with recent leaks to the media that “officials are challenging” his assessment asking for more troops. In the last two days, the White House National Security Adviser and the Secretary of Defense have both suggested that the general should keep his mouth shut.”

“…In an interview with Newsweek, Gen. McChrystal said he wouldn’t resign if the President rejects his request for more troops. If he were really trying to dictate policy, he’d have given a different answer. But we don’t think Gen. McChrystal should stay to implement a Biden war plan either. No commander in uniform should ask his soldiers to die for a strategy he doesn’t think is winnable—or for a President who lets his advisers and party blame a general for their own lack of political nerve.”

I’m wondering how many other disavowed friends, family, co-workers, and political enemies are just waiting in the wings to share what they know about Mr. Obama…

PS I did get my inspiration for stomping on a UN flag at every Conservative Street Activist rally I attended over the past few years from Mr. Ayers. Thanks Bill! – Fighting Fire with Fire is the only way to win the ideological war! You moonbats on the left have inspired a whole generation of teaparty activists with your street theatre. How can we ever thank you?
