Glenn Reynolds has some interesting insights, read his essay linked from TCS Daily
THE HIGH COST OF RAISING A KID:

And Here is a link to a talk by Elder Neil A. Maxwell who spoke eloquently about raising children in a 1994 conference address to the LDS People.

Ann Coulter Loves Mormons and Mitt Romney
Jenny Hatch
PS Oh, I forgot, cause it didn’t get too much press, but she also said something about John Edwards
Ann Responds to Republican criticisms of her joke:
“Ms. Coulter, asked for a reaction to the Republican criticism, said in an e-mail message: “C’mon, it was a joke. I would never insult gays by suggesting that they are like John Edwards. That would be mean.”
UPDATE:
No Hate Speech by Prominent Leftists?
My feeling is that more than dissing John Edwards, Ann was making fun of political correctness and the various sensitivity training classes that exist as a form of Moral Rehabilitation for those of us who refuse to cave to politically correct thinking and speech. Ann is NOT a homophobe. And I support her right to use any sort of humor she feels will get her point across.
Bridge to Terebithia
Shelly and Allison just walked in the door after watching the new movie Bridge to Terebithia. They both still had tears in their eyes. They said many people in the theatre were sobbing out loud, and that the movie was amazing.
I loved reading that book when I was a child. I almost never go to the movies when something is new, I like to watch them in the comfort of my own home when they come out on DVD. But the girls both loved the book, and were excited to see the movie. The boys saw it last week with our friends, and the mom who took them said that she cried so much she had a headache. Jeff and Andy also said they loved it.

Hillarys reverence for Socialism and Communists
Reading Hillary Rodham’s hidden thesis
I’m grateful Bill Dedman opened up this topic of Hillary’s thesis and that it is now open for scrutiny and the fact that it will be parsed and picked apart by her foes.
He Said:
“With Clinton’s opponents in the 2008 presidential race looking for the next “Swift Boat” attack ad, and the senator herself trying to cast off her liberal image, Clinton’s 92-page thesis is certain to be read and reread by opposition researchers and reporters visiting the campus.
But can an academic paper from nearly 40 years ago really unlock the politics and character of any former student, much less the early Democratic front-runner for the White House?
This is your chance to decide before the political spin machines get their hands on it.”
I don’t really care about Mrs. Clintons college days, although when one is blasted out of university life as a die hard socialist attempting to turn and swim up stream as a moderate while swirling down the rushing river of Democratic nothingness is rather difficult (although it is fun for us to watch).
Hillary has never lived in the real world. She is just like our ivy covered professors. Never held a job, never paid bills, a mortgage…just living and working on the dole of big government.
I am much more concerned about her crimes around her political foes than I ever will be about her communist apologies past and present. She has displayed a ruthlessness and lust for power that is unmatched in American Politics. The many deaths and crimes committed while she has been the wife of the most corrupt politician in American History disqualify her for the most important job of commander in chief.
Here are some previous posts on this topic:

And Here.
Is it important that her thesis be analyzed to death? No, she was and is just one of millions of American Women who went to the ivy league as nice conservative girls raised in religious homes and allowed herself to be seduced by the dark side of the political spectrum. Does this disqualify her from public service as President of the United States? No.
What disqualifies her are the many crimes she has committed and never been held accountable for. I wish investigative reporters from MSNBC would add a couple of articles to the many that can be found when “Hillary Clinton, Murder, Fraud, and Crimes” are googled.
