Hugh Hewitt: Spotlight on Trevino as he rounds up lefty reaction to Sadaams Death

Trevino: Tears for the Devil

“As it happens, I actually agree with Farley, to varying degrees, on all those points — but what a pity this is the price for maintaining good standing with the “netroots” crowd. A man can’t say it’s good to see the tyrant gone, and be done with it.

But then, they don’t think the real tyrant is the man who hung today. That is their peculiar madness: an inability to see a fundamental good done without the reflexive, “Yes, but….” They think it a function of their power of perspicacity, but it is nothing more than the very thing that drove the dead man himself: the marriage of persistent paranoia, and enduring hate.”

It might be wrong to link this post in the Lefty Satire catagory, because it simply catalogs lefty response to Sadaams Death, found on their own blogs. But Josh’s willingness to compare these moonbats to Sadaam shows that in life, they simply satire/spoof themselves…

“but it is nothing more than the very thing that drove the dead man himself: the marriage of persistent paranoia, and enduring hate.”

Thanks Josh for taking the time to catalog the responses, I can barely stand to be in democrat chatrooms for more than a minute or two because of the all the profanity.

Happy New Year!

We just shared a wonderful meal together as a family and talked about our New Years Resolutions for Family Home Evening.
I only have one. I’ve given up chocolate in all its forms.
I did this once before, and stayed true to it for several years, but for the past several months, it has just felt like I have been eating lots and lots of chocolate sweets. This really affects my moods and my singing voice, and so I have decided to give it up for the duration. I stopped eating all chocolate in preparation for singing the Messiah, and have not taken one bite since the day before Halloween. My resolve kept me strong during the holiday months, and it has now been two full months since I’ve eaten any candy.
But this time I am taking it one step beyond and we are going to be a chocolate free house. I told the children that they can eat as much as they want at school, church, and with their friends, but that I did not want them to bring any into the house. They were pretty nice about it.

Huff Po – Executing Saddam: Snuffing out the Insurgency? or Igniting Full Fledged Civil War?

Pajamas Media Coverage Sadaam Execution:
Executing Saddam: Snuffing out the Insurgency? or Igniting Full Fledged Civil War?
Steve Clemons:

“To many, he has become a defiant leader fighting American oppression and someone who portrays himself as a proud and ferocious Sunni force. Many Sunnis want him back — and we need to prepare for something big, very big, when he dies.”

Baa Waaahh Haa Ha Heeee
Man, the tears are rolling down my cheeks, I’m laughing so hard. Prepare for something big??? What, a big party? Clemons is so naive. The Sunnis have been the MOST terrorized by Sadaam. Snuffing out his pathetic existence will set them free, free to speak out, free to never, ever worry again that he will come back to terrorize them and their families.
