This past week I watched the Ben Carson movie Gifted Hands on Netflix. It was such an inspiring movie that I encouraged all of my children to take the time to watch it. I know the internet is going crazy with Ben Carson fever, but for me, it has been so refreshing after four years of the Scold in Chief demonizing me and my belief that to have a soft spoken man stand up and speak the words that my heart has longed to hear, well, gentle rain on a parched desert seems a fitting analogy.
