This is the most intelligent thing Michele Bachmann has ever said. Rick Perry is bought & paid for by corporate interests spanning from drug companies to oil companies, and everything in between.
Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann says it is too soon in the process to count her out of the 2012 GOP nomination race and when voters had a chance to choose in the Iowa Straw Poll she won.
Following the first-ever CNN/Tea Party Republican debate Monday, Bachmann — founder of the House Tea Party Caucus — also said Gov. Rick Perry’s explanation was not satisfactory when he admitted he should not have issued an executive order requiring sixth-grade girls get a vaccine to prevent the human papillomavirus, a virus which can cause cervical cancer.Bachmann said the executive order “violates liberty” and the vaccine could have serious medical consequences of its own. The order was later reversed in court.
“When you have innocent little 12-year-old girls that are being forced to have a government injection into their body — this is a liberty interest that violates the most deepest personal part of a little child,” Bachmann said. “And it violates the parental rights, because what we understand is, again, this was an executive order that mandated that every little 12-year-old girl had to have this vaccination — and then you’d have to opt out.
“Well, parents don’t necessarily have the backing — have the information, the backing to know to opt out — this should be an opt in,” she said. “This is a clearly an example of overreach for government — again, the governor admitted that this was a big mistake.”
Bachmann said the problem with the mandated vaccine is that “a little girl doesn’t get a do over — once they have that vaccination in their body, once it causes its damage, that little girl doesn’t have a chance to go back.”
“So you can’t just say you’re sorry — when you’re president of the United States, you don’t get a mulligan — you don’t get a do over,” she said.
Later on Fox News, host Greta Van Susteren noted Perry’s former chief of staff now works for the drug company that manufactures the vaccine and Merck contributed about $6,000 contribution to his campaign.
“Well, this is what people hate about politics — when you have someone in a position of power, whether it’s state government or the federal government, and they have political donors — and then they use their position of power to benefit those political donors,” Bachmann said. “He mentioned the drug company — it’s the Merck drug company — and the governor’s former chief of staff is chief lobbyist for this big drug company. And he mandated, again, that every girl would have to have this particular drug.”
“Modern medicine uses the double-blind and placebo-controlled trial as the gold standard by which the effectiveness of a treatment is determined. On the surface, this scientific method is very reasonable. However, serious problems in these studies are widely acknowledged by academics but remain unknown to the general public. Fundamental questions about the meaning of the word “efficacy” are rarely raised.
For instance, just because a drug treatment seems to eliminate a specific symptom does not necessarily mean that it is “effective.” In fact, getting rid of a specific symptom can be the bad news. Aspirin may lower your fever, but physiologists recognize that fever is an important defense of the body in its efforts to fight infection. Sleep-inducing drugs may lead you to fall asleep, but they do not lead to refreshed sleep, and these drugs ultimately tend to aggravate the cycle of insomnia and fatigue, while conveniently (for the drug companies) tend to create addiction. Long-term safety and efficacy of many modern drugs for common ailments remains unknown, despite the high hopes and sincere expectations from the medical community and the rest of us for greater certainty.”

One of the things that conservatives especially need to understand is that the same “scientists” who gave us bogus climate data are the same global elites tied to Big Pharma. They have wrapped the “irrefutable scientific peer reviewed evidence” around all of their research in an attempt to spew their chemicals all over the minds and bodies of the families of the world and it is the worst peer reviewed junk science that has ever been produced.

Although modern physicians may point their collective finger at various “alternative” or “natural” treatment modalities as examples of quackery, it is conventional medical treatments today that are out-of-this-world expensive, and despite real questionable efficacy of their treatments, doctors give patients the guise of “science….”
…Big Pharma, Big Bucks, and the Guise of Science Adherents of conventional medicine have consistently asserted that its methods are scientifically verified, and they have ridiculed other methods that are suggested to have therapeutic or curative effects. In fact, conventional physicians have consistently worked to disallow competitors, even viciously attacking those in their own profession who have questioned conventional treatments or provided alternative modalities. More recently, medical organizations simply work with insurance companies to help them determine what should and shouldn’t get reimbursed, a clever way to kill competition bloodlessly.
And yet, strangely enough, whatever has been in vogue in conventional medicine in one decade has been declared ineffective, dangerous and sometimes barbaric in the ensuing decades. Surprisingly, despite this pattern in history, proponents and defenders of “scientific medicine” tend to have little or no humility, continually asserting that today’s cure is truly effective … and in any case, strongly asserting that any “alternatives” to this ever-changing treatment are quackery, sheer quackery, whether they know anything about these alternative treatment modalities or not….”

Three areas of Modern Medicine are the most problematic for parents and children. They are Birth, Psychiatry, and Vaccines. These three modalities of healing contain some of the worst junk science in all of medicine. And ironically, they are the three main forms of Allopathy that are most revered and used by Families around the world.
The number one thing that hospitals do in this country is deliver babies. And with the statistics for surgical birth looking extremely grim, I believe we are on a trajectory with Birth where we could easily lose natural and normal birth in another generation or two.
The New York Times ran an article yesterday extolling the efforts of one New York hospital to implement policies that have lowered the C-section rate. (I often believe these types of articles are the elites tossing a bone to the activists working to normalize birth – they know how horrifying their statistics are and if they can claim a 23% c-section rate is a “good thing” it provides perfect cover, what some of us call, “Controlled opposition” to the status quo. It also manipulates the readers into thinking that something positive is going on when we have a C-section rate of 23%)
Staten Island University Hospital has kept its rate down to a 23% level and while I applaud the efforts of a pioneer like Mitchell A Maiman, as A birth activist I am appalled at any C-section rate over five percent.
Ideally the rate should be 3% and our society should be actively educating mothers on proper nutrition, natural birth, and how to nourish/birth a healthy baby without drugs, to reduce it even more. (Please note, with the current level of ignorance on the part of Young Mothers and the absolute addiction of our people to drugs, junk food, and mothers overextending themselves with excessive exercise and working/volunteering outside the home, I believe this will take several generations to accomplish.)
To my way of thinking the only rational reason for a woman to have a surgery to give birth would be if she was in an accident and the surgery would save her and the babe. Lifestyle choice on the part of the doctor or the mother would have NOTHING to do with it.

“Mother-demanded C-sections are unusual enough that the policy is probably more useful to Dr. Maiman for the message it sends to doctors and patients, a clear sign that he values a noninterventionist policy as long as it is safe. It has become common for hospitals to prohibit what are known as VBACs (for Vaginal Birth After Caesarean, pronounced VEE-back) for reasons having to do with anesthesia availability and, more tacitly, a fear of lawsuits. Dr. Maiman actively encourages VBACs. Residents are trained not only to avoid unnecessary C-sections, but to let higher-ups know if they witness another doctor about to perform one.
Obstetricians with high Caesarean rates, Dr. Maiman said, invite scrutiny; doctors either come to see things his way or end up leaving the hospital.
“If a woman has a third or a fourth Caesarean, the maternal morbidity and mortality is astronomically higher,” Dr. Maiman said. “That’s when you see women dying in childbirth from obstetrical hemorrhage.”
Whether or not you like his policy — maybe you believe a mother’s choice should extend to controlling the hour of her delivery and how much it will hurt — you have to give Dr. Maiman credit for not just creating protocols to protect women’s health, but enforcing them. There is not a lot of incentive for hospitals to let conviction trump convenience, especially when convenience comes with the added bonus of lower legal risk.”
The Medical Profession has a long history of controlling its own opposition, especially when it comes to Psychiatry and Vaccinations.

Countless radio shows and magazine, newspaper and TV interviews later, here we are in 2010 with The MOTHERS Act slipped into the Health Care Bill and passed with carte blanche approval from Democrats in the House after a tough fight in the Senate.
I find it ironic and funny to read on Katherine Stone’s and Susan Stone’s blogs a few posts congratulating each other for a job well done. All told several people are listed as getting all the credit for passing a bill that died every year in Congress for six years before passing the house in 2007 and being killed by our coalition in 2008. As you know, when the House of Reps passes something, sometimes all that they do is announce the name of the bill and its stated purpose and vote. Nobody wants to vote against something titled “The MOTHERS Act” though in reality it should be called “The Pharmaceutical Companies’ Dream For America Act” or maybe “The Axe The Mothers and Babies Act.”
I would like to use this blog post to challenge anyone reading it to learn the facts about the drug companies. Learn the facts about birth, vaccines, and psychiatry. And then make those choices that will give ultimate health and wellness to your family.

Gardasil Researcher Drops A Bombshell Harper: Controversal Drug Will Do Little To Reduce Cervical Cancer Rates

Dr. Diane Harper, lead researcher in the development of two human papilloma virus vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix, said the controversial drugs will do little to reduce cervical cancer rates and, even though they’re being recommended for girls as young as nine, there have been no efficacy trials in children under the age of 15.
Dr. Harper, director of the Gynecologic Cancer Prevention Research Group at the University of Missouri, made these remarks during an address at the 4th International Public Conference on Vaccination which took place in Reston, Virginia on Oct. 2-4. Although her talk was intended to promote the vaccine, participants said they came away convinced the vaccine should not be received.
“I came away from the talk with the perception that the risk of adverse side effects is so much greater than the risk of cervical cancer, I couldn’t help but question why we need the vaccine at all,” said Joan Robinson, Assistant Editor at the Population Research Institute.
Dr. Harper began her remarks by explaining that 70 percent of all HPV infections resolve themselves without treatment within a year. Within two years, the number climbs to 90 percent. Of the remaining 10 percent of HPV infections, only half will develop into cervical cancer, which leaves little need for the vaccine.
She went on to surprise the audience by stating that the incidence of cervical cancer in the U.S. is already so low that “even if we get the vaccine and continue PAP screening, we will not lower the rate of cervical cancer in the US.”
There will be no decrease in cervical cancer until at least 70 percent of the population is vaccinated, and even then, the decrease will be minimal.
Apparently, conventional treatment and preventative measures are already cutting the cervical cancer rate by four percent a year. At this rate, in 60 years, there will be a 91.4 percent decline just with current treatment. Even if 70 percent of women get the shot and required boosters over the same time period, which is highly unlikely, Harper says Gardasil still could not claim to do as much as traditional care is already doing.
Dr. Harper, who also serves as a consultant to the World Health Organization, further undercut the case for mass vaccination by saying that “four out of five women with cervical cancer are in developing countries.”
Ms. Robinson said she could not help but wonder, “If this is the case, then why vaccinate at all? But from the murmurs of the doctors in the audience, it was apparent that the same thought was occurring to them.”
However, at this point, Dr. Harper dropped an even bigger bombshell on the audience when she announced that, “There have been no efficacy trials in girls under 15 years.”
Merck, the manufacturer of Gardasil, studied only a small group of girls under 16 who had been vaccinated, but did not follow them long enough to conclude sufficient presence of effective HPV antibodies.
This is not the first time Dr. Harper revealed the fact that Merck never tested Gardasil for safety in young girls. During a 2007 interview with KPC News.com, she said giving the vaccine to girls as young as 11 years-old “is a great big public health experiment.”
At the time, which was at the height of Merck’s controversial drive to have the vaccine mandated in schools, Dr. Harper remained steadfastly opposed to the idea and said she had been trying for months to convince major television and print media about her concerns, “but no one will print it.”
“It is silly to mandate vaccination of 11 to 12 year old girls,” she said at the time. “There also is not enough evidence gathered on side effects to know that safety is not an issue.”
When asked why she was speaking out, she said: “I want to be able to sleep with myself when I go to bed at night.”
Since the drug’s introduction in 2006, the public has been learning many of these facts the hard way. To date, 15,037 girls have officially reported adverse side effects from Gardasil to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). These adverse reactions include Guilliane Barre, lupus, seizures, paralysis, blood clots, brain inflammation and many others. The CDC acknowledges that there have been 44 reported deaths.
Dr. Harper also participated in the research on Glaxo-Smith-Kline’s version of the drug, Cervarix, currently in use in the UK but not yet approved here. Since the government began administering the vaccine to school-aged girls last year, more than 2,000 patients reported some kind of adverse reaction including nausea, dizziness, blurred vision, convulsions, seizures and hyperventilation. Several reported multiple reactions, with 4,602 suspected side-effects recorded in total. The most tragic case involved a 14 year-old girl who dropped dead in the corridor of her school an hour after receiving the vaccination.
The outspoken researcher also weighed in last month on a report published in the Journal of the American Medical Association that raised questions about the safety of the vaccine, saying bluntly: “The rate of serious adverse events is greater than the incidence rate of cervical cancer.”
Ms. Robinson said she respects Dr. Harper’s candor. “I think she’s a scientist, a researcher, and she’s genuine enough a scientist to be open about the risks. I respect that in her.”
However, she failed to make the case for Gardasil. “For me, it was hard to resist the conclusion that Gardasil does almost nothing for the health of American women.”
Merck, manufacturer of the controversial Gardasil vaccine, has awarded a research grant of $79,000.00 to two Indiana University Kelley School of Business professors to study the effect of two interventions on acceptance of the HPV vaccination among low-income and minority women, according to a press release by the university. One professor, Dena Cox, will examine how consumers make health care decisions. Another professor, Anthony Cox, will explore how consumers evaluate the risk factors involved when considering medical treatments.
Researchers are Business Experts, Not Medical Doctors
Eli Lilly Fellow Dena Cox, who will serve as the principal investigator on the study, was previously a microbiologist before receiving a doctorate in marketing from the University of Houston. Anthony Cox, co-investigator for this study, has a Ph.D. in marketing from Indiana University. Note that neither of these researchers are medical doctors. According to the press release, it is their job to “seek the most effective ways to present HPV vaccine risk and benefit information to low-income Hispanic, African-American and White women, so that they can make informed HPV vaccination decisions.”
