This lesson on adversity was the one I taught last sunday. The teens behaved better and we had a spirit filled discussion about trials.
What struck me the most as I prepared the lesson was the title. Adversity CAN help us grow. It did not say Adversity WILL help us grow. Just because we have trials does not mean that we will learn from those experiences. It was an interesting observation.
