Ezra Taft Benson was the Prophet of The LDS Church while I was a teen, I heard him give a live speech very much like this one when I was a freshman at BYU in 1986, and I listened to him speak as an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ every six months all through the 70’s and 80’s during my childhood. His talks invariably revolved around Freedom issues. The clarity of his words stand as a beacon now and helped me to see things very clearly back then. With leaders such as these, it was more difficult to confuse the mormons than perhaps any other religious group on political ideologies and teachings as the Socialist Liars collectivised the country the past few decades.

I am so grateful for the confident words of this amazing Patriot. His example and life stand as a witness to anyone interested that people in positions of political power (He was Eisenhowers Agricultural Secretary for all eight years of his administration), spoke loudly and boldly during the communist takeover of our nation. Ronald Reagan named Benson as one of his mentors.
