If life and its rushed pace and many stresses have made it difficult for you to feel like rejoicing, then perhaps now is a good time to refocus on what matters most.

Vaccine Truth: 83 Reasons to Question Autism Speaks for Hiring Big Pharma Scientist

Jeffry John Aufderheide:

“The big secret finally is out. Autism Speaks made a radical announcement May 9th, 2011 that said Robert Ring, PhD, a scientist from Pfizer, was placed “into to the newly-created position of vice president of translational research.” Ring’s appointment was made simultaneously with the discovery that 83 cases of vaccine-induced autism were paid compensation secretly by the U.S. government’s Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP).

Why is former Pfizer employee Ring’s appointment radical? Two years ago Pfizer announced the pharmaceutical industry’s first “Autism Spectrum Disorders Unit.” Robert Ring led that group since 2009. I’ll provide more information on this later, but I also want you to consider another very important point.”

Read the whole piece written by Jeffry….excellent analysis and factual reporting about the closed loop in the Autism World.  Here is the comment I left on his article:

Jeffry,

Interesting you mentioned Frodo and the ring as I am watching Return of the King out of the corner of my eye on TNT as I read this article.

You have clearly outlined what Dr. Len Horowitz calls “Controlled Opposition” in this article.

What makes me mad is all of the innocent families who will get suckered in to donating to this abortion of an advocacy group. It just makes the abomination of the whole thing that much more enraging.

Interesting anecdote about Melinda Gates, Bills wife…

She wrote a piece at the Huffington Post about Stillbirths.
Many, many babes all over the world were murdered and born “still” after their Mothers took the H1N1 Vaccine.

Quite a few of us spanked her in the comment section about her promotion of vaccines and the links between miscarriage and the H1N1 in particular. Most of these comments were published and I wish I had anticipated what would happen and had taken some screen shots of those great comments.

A few hours after I posted I went back to see what was being said and the comments linking stillbirth to vaccines were ALL GONE. No dissent when Bill and Melinda are writing and/or paying the bills.

Keep up the great writing! I am going to post this one on my Facebook wall.

Book of Mormon Musical

Click on the image to read the online version of The Book of Mormon

As a Faithful Mormon and a lover of Musical Theatre, I have followed this story with great interest the past few months.

I don’t know that I can credibly critique a show that I have yet to see, but two friends who are both LDS who have seen it said: “But Cornett was “pleasantly surprised that the writers’ usual middle-school-grade crudeness was virtually absent.” and “Everything you have heard is true. But worse.“…

I trust both of my friends opinions.

I am for artistic freedom and completely endorse the idea of free speech through any medium, even when that speech mocks what is most sacred in my life. As I listened to this song from the show performed on the Tony Awards last night, I had to nod in agreement with just about everything that was articulated in the lyrics. I do believe with every particle of my being that Jesus is the Christ and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is his Kingdom on the Earth.

And for those of my friends open minded enough to give the real Book of Mormon a read, here is a link to the online version…  it is my favorite Book.

Road trip w/ Jeff and Andy

A couple weeks ago Jeff and Andy started making noise about wanting to take a road trip to California.  Paul and I talked it over and we told the boys that they could take the trip, but two conditions had to be met first:

1.  They had to take the trip north to Montana

2.  Mom had to be sitting in the back seat

We had a great time traveling to Jackson Wyoming and then up to West Yellowstone Montana, hitting the Rexburg Temple, BYU Idaho, the Playmill Theatre (Where I was an actor the summer of 1987), and most of the west side of Yellowstone Park in the process.

It was a great time with my two boys and I am so glad we said yes.  I truly tried to stay a fly on the wall as Jeff did most of the driving and I just offered little bits of Motherly advice….like, “Hey Boys, A blizzard is blowing outside the tent and we have no source of heat…maybe we should bail and find a motel room.”

As I tried to get warm the third night of our trip with a blizzard blowing and ice caking on the inside of the tent walls I had the thought that I could wake up to 2 dead teenagers in the morning.

So that night we stayed at the Best Western in West Yellowstone and then upgraded from the tent site to a cabin at the KOA.  It was a once in a lifetime trip that I will never forget.  I made a short You Tube Video hosted below and all of the photos and video are hosted at One True Media.

Back in the Saddle

I’ve done this blogging break thing for just about every year that I have been writing since 2005. It is always a good time to retrench, evaluate, and really consider if this is a project I should spend quality time on.

It takes me three weeks to decompress and decide if I want to continue on once I stop.

Generally I go back and forth trying to decide and am always sorely tempted to delete every word I have ever written on the web, and just move on with my life.

But I feel rested and ready to jump back into the digital pool…
