I had a great interview today on the radio show with Sheila Sullivan.  I continue to be amazed by the depth of information that fellow psychiatric survivors have to share and also the fact that although I have spent considerable time and energy educating myself about illness, I feel like I have barely scratched the surface in terms of what I know and understand.

I watched this video today. It literally blew my mind…

The information that was quickly and articulately shared by Dr. Scaer validated just about every other bit of education I have had on physical and emotional illness over these past 21 years. I have worked with so many healers, read so many books, had so many personal witnesses from the Holy Spirit and have gained my depth of knowledge by study and also by faith and as he spoke, it almost felt as if this great tapestry of learning was pulled into one big whole. Like a blanket of knowledge that explained and articulated so much of my life journey that felt unreasonable. His words helped to identify so many of the physical and emotional symptoms that I have struggled with my whole life. It comforts me to know that someone who is a part of the Allopathic World understands these issues to the depth that he explained in the Google Video.

If you take the time to watch, please consider that the best thing we can do for the future of humanity is to holistically birth and breastfeed our babes. Although I will continue to talk to the survivors and healers on my radio show for the amazing healing journey stories that they have to share, my main message with this blog is one of helping parents to take on the challenge of providing their children with the most gentle entry into the world possible. In this DVD, Gary Null examines the increasingly common practice of prescribing psychotropic drugs for children – including preschoolers as young as age 2 to 4 – who have been diagnosed with ADD, or ADHD.In the absence of any objective medical tests to determine who has ADD or ADHD, doctors rely in part on standardized assessments and the impressions of teachers and guardians while the they administer leave little room for other causes or aggravating factors, such as diet, or environment.
