Laura Shanley and I have started an Unassisted Childbirth support group. We meet once a month here in my home in Colorado and simply use this group to encourage those mothers who may have a desire to give birth at home alone.
Our October group was just Laura, a new mom with her baby, and I. But we had a lovely time just visiting and sharing our lives. Our hope is that this group can become the model for support groups all over the country as UC Birth becomes more popular.
