“Most of the major ills of the world have been caused by
well-meaning people who ignored the principle of individual
freedom, except as applied to themselves, and who were obsessed
with fanatical zeal to improve the lot of mankind.”
—Henry Grady Weaver
This is such a red letter day, with possible indictments coming for members of the presidents staff (all because of a lie), the 2000th dead American Soldier in Iraq being politicized by the Nobles in our society, and additional evidence that Mr. Galloway is a bald faced liar…
Why write about this on a Natural Parenting Blog?
I figure standing up for Iraqs freedom is a way for me to stand up for my own. When we support Freedom lovers in other countries, this has a positive effect on our own “eternal vigilance“. Patriots understand that this vigilance is the price to be paid for our Liberty.
I have followed all of it closely, written about it extensively, and was even banned from a political board because of my strongly worded views. When I joined the Mothering.com chat room in the summer of 2004 I was severly reprimanded for my writing style in the first week by Web Moderator Cynthia Mosher. Then I tried to stiffle myself for a couple weeks and after posting a strongly worded and “inciteful to liberals” thread about Bill Clinton being very aware of the WMD in Iraq, I was suspended from the board for a time. (Please take a sec to read the transcript from then president Clinton, it makes this whole “no WMD” thing so much smoke and mirrors.)
After a month or so I wrote to Cynthia and asked if I could chime in again. She gave me a “one strike and your out” warning and allowed me to come back on as UCMOM on the mothering boards. I did OK, really tried to control my language, and my words to make sure I wrote nothing inflammatory, no personal attacks, etc…
I felt that the board was so one-sided in terms of liberals being given near free license to say whatever they wanted while Conservatives were being disciplined daily. On the eve of the election for Bush’s 2nd term I was gloating a little, and some people were so mad at me they posted some nasty things and were given one month suspensions as discipline. I was grateful for the balance and stayed a part of the board for another month or so.
The week of the January Iraq election, I started a thread titled “one month cyber celebration of the Iraq election” I wanted to share in the joy of our Iraqi friends as they chose their founders to write the Iraq Constitution. I was immediately flamed by several long time liberal writers on the board (who are all still a part of it and STILL spouting the party line BTW).
On that friday before the election, I finally realized that I had had enough. I knew Sunday’s Iraq election was going to be a total success, I knew that none of our soldiers had died in vain, I knew that this was the beginning of the end for the Terrorists, and I knew then as I know now that every drop of blood that had been spilt had been worth it.
So I sat down and just typed everything that was in my head. I just let it pour out of me. Within minutes of replying, the thread had been pulled, and later that day I received an email from Cynthia Mosher informing me of my permanent banning, and it was over.
I knew it would be. I had no doubt that this would be the result of me writing those words.
The words I wrote on that cold january morning, words that bubbled up after months of frustrating conversation and debate, STILL resonate in my mind and in my heart, and so I share them with you here today, along with an explanatory post that I made at Free Republic as well as Cynthia’s email banning me…
Quote from Free Republic post:
“What really got me and the other conservative mothers was the double standard. My threads were constantly being pulled, closed for “review” so no one else could post to them, and all of us felt like the liberal moms could say whatever they wanted and we had to constantly self censor out of fear of being banned or disciplined.
I wanted to tell those gals who were the moderators that if we ever did get completely socialized in America they should look for work as thought police because they had the job down pat.
I had started a thread the week before the Iraq election (it has been pulled) titled the “One week long cyber party for the Iraq election”. I just knew the Iraqi people were going to vote in mass and that the election was going to be a terrific success. I was immediately flamed and although the mods told people to be respectful of my “party” certain posters just could not resist dumping all their garbage on my thread. Finally, I just had it, and said what I thought.

ย
I called them “Nobles” like the nobles in Braveheart. And that is what they are.
My post is preceeded by my banning notice from the main moderator of the site (Whom I actually like and respect and consider a friend – she let me back on the site after my first banning when I pleaded with her to give me another chance. I promised that I would tone down my rhetoric, and I really tried, but with this post, I just let them have it, because I was tired of having to censor myself when everyone else could say whatever they wanted)
In terms of her claim that I was “insulting” to others on the board, please note that I was insulted in a dozen different ways, every day that I participated on that board – I guess free speech means that liberals can insult us with their flag burning and their screaming and their defilement of everything we hold sacred, but when we call them on it and hold up a mirror to show them as the hippocrites that they are, well, that is insulting and will not be tolerated…”

“Although I have been permanently banned from participating on the Motheringdotcommune message board, I am still in complete support and solidarity with the goals of Mothering magazine, the lifestyle they promote, and the information they monthly share with readers through their magazine. I live the Natural Lifestyle they espouse with my own family. The main purpose of my blog is to encourage families to live a more natural lifestyle….that being said, here is Cynthia’s email followed by the post that got me banned…”
Jenny, in light of past issues, your past suspension, your subsequent
warnings and alerts, and your ongoing issues with this community I am
closing your account. I have made numerous attempts to justify and defend
your membership here and have stood up to many longtime, devoted and sincere
MDC members in that regard which may have cost me much of their respect. I
can do so no longer. Your most recent post (copy below) speaks very clearly
of your feelings and attitude. MDC is not your community and posts of this
nature are of no community benefit. In fact such words are destructive and
insulting to a community such as ours.
Best wishes and good bye Jenny.

And the post:
“Mommiska,
The great lie has started. I thought it would come after the election, but
with your post, I think we can safely say it is here. What is this lie?
“we were for the freedom of the Iraqi people all along. We always wanted
them to have the rights of self determination. We just didn’t want anyone to
die in the process. We have always been willing to do whatever it took to
support freedom, after all, we are liberals. We are for free speech.
etc.etc.etc….”
This is what I think about the various anti-war threads that have been the
bulk of this board for as long as I have been here.
When president Bush said right after 9-11 “you are either for us or against
us, you either stand with tyranny or you stand with freedom, I took him at
his word. I have never thought the war was about oil profits or Halliburton.
This war was America drawing a line in the sand and simply saying we claim
the right to defend ourselves, to defend our financial interests, to defend
our people, and to defend liberty.
This was a strong stance and it offended lots of people. When the anti-war
demonstrations were taking place in the lead up to the war in Iraq, Sadaam
and all his cohorts in tyranny were watching very closely. They felt they
had the will of the people with them.
When in fact what they had with them were those countries who had a
financial stake in the status quo with them, and a whole lot of gullible
demonstrators who were being organized by Communists, and didn’t even know
it, and who were acting as the useful idiots that tyrants like Sadaam have
used so successfully over the ages.
I have been thinking all morning of a way to illustrate how I see the people
on this board who have a compulsion to share all the bad news every day, day
in and day out, pointing out all mistakes, all mis-steps, all the tragic
deaths, etc etc… And for the record, I have been quite aware of all of the
bad news. And I mourn with the families of both Iraqis and Americans who
have lost loved ones….
The best analogy I can think of is that those who are so dutiful in pointing
out all the negatives of the war are like the Nobles in Braveheart.
These fair weather traitors who would stand in the middle of Tyranny and
Freedom. Who lived comfortably off the sweat and blood of the peasants,
would place themselves front and center in the grey area between Freedom and
Slavery, and whichever way the wind was blowing they would turn, attempting
to gain a measure of fame, comfort, and ease while those who understood the
cost of Freedom did the actual fighting. They were happy to betray when it
was in their own best interests.
Think of that scene in Braveheart when Wallace loses his faith and hope in
the fight. He holds up the flag to call in the nobles calvalry, and they
turn and walk away….just walk away. And thousands were slaughtered. I’ll
never forget the look on Wallace’s face in that moment of the movie. Mel
Gibson captured it perfectly. It was utter astonishment, and disbelief that
such a betrayal could take place.
A similar betrayal took place in Viet Nam when our soldiers walked away and
2 million Cambodians were murdered. John Kerry had said it would be maybe
5,000. No it was 2,000,000 people.
Now as you nobles go about your business of playing it down the middle, or
walking both sides of tyranny and freedom, just know that I know who you
are. When you feel the temptation to say after the election…”well this is
what I wanted all along” just know, that I will be watching, and will know
who you are in your heart.
Unless if you are willing right now today, to stand and be counted before
the Iraqi election and say, “I was wrong. I wish I had seen it more
clearly. I am sorry for the lives my stance cost. I am sorry for the blood
on my treasonous hands”
Unless if you are willing to courageously stand and make this statement, do
not for one minute think you can have it both ways next week. Do not think
that you can write and post and add links and say, “Hey, I have always been
for the troops, I have just been against how it was done. Or, I was always
for Democracy, I just didn’t want anyone to die, or I was always for
Freedom, I just wanted to sound like I knew something, and have my right to
say something stupid and ineffective WITHOUT BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR MY
WORDS…”
Just know that I understand who you are, Traitors, who have systematically
engaged in treasonous behavior and work during the war. As you have given
aid and comfort to the enemy during this time of war, know that I know in my
heart you have blood on your hands. You have enboldened our enemies during
the war. You have caused the death of innocent men, women, and children,
mostly from the country of Iraq who have been killed by terrorists who have
been working feverishly to kill the will of the American Populace at home.
They have not killed my will. They have not killed the will of our military,
and they Will not kill the will of this president. May God bless him for his
stance, for his clarity, for his willingness to stand strong.
And may those of you who toss hand grenades of disbelief, sarcasm, and
pompous Nobility slunk away to your latte’s and your porn and your secular
humanistic nothing……the world is ACHING for freedom and some of us are
willing to fight for it. I am not a soldier, but I would be willing for my
children to fight in this war, and die in this war. And if you were to use
my child’s blood for your own selfish Noble stance and I saw you in person I
would spit in your eye.
I cringe for any of you who may come in contact with a true patriot mother
whose child has died. They hold you and every contemptuous position you
promote in complete horror and dread. You who willfully rebel against the
truth. I hope you can have the humbling experience of meeting up with one of
these mother’s one day so you can begin to understand the wrongs that you
have committed all in the name of supposedly standing for a moral position.
Your morality is nothing. It is a great big wind bag full of nothing. And
again, as you prepare to put on the mask of “but I was for this all
along…in the coming weeks and month….just know, I hold you all in
complete contempt as an enemy to freedom.
Jenny”
I pray that the truth will set the nations of the world free.
Please, “powers that be”, Please, indict Galloway, put Wilson away for perjury, expose more fully oil for food, and American Media….would you please just get the Iraq story right??? For once, would you just do the right thing, and focus on what is really important, true, and relevant???
We should have had screaming headlines yesterday triumphing over the Iraq Election: Hundreds of Media stories heralding in the new constitution.
Instead it was all Rove, Cheney, and Plame, Plame, Plame all over the news.
This sham politicizing of bogus charges, distraction from what is truly important, and media hyping is so sickening to me.
The important thing to remember about the anti-war demonstrators is this; Those who are part of the Anti-War movement come from a variety of camps.
The first and most obvious are those like Galloway who were being bribed to stand publicly with Sadaam.
The second group are made up of Communists and Socialists who are enraged that yet another Socialist economy and country has gone down the toilet.
The third are a group of people who believe for religious or ideological reasons that no one is ever justified in force. I actually have some respect for these people and their earnest desire to see the world made better through peaceful means. I believe they do have honest hearts.
The next and largest group of Anti-War demonstrators are misguided Americans, “Useful Idiots” to use Lenin’s term.
It was always surprising to me as I demonstrated at these last two Denver Freeps how many moonbats asked me why I had inked up my right index finger. They didn’t know anything about the elections. They had not heard that this was a symbol of Iraqi Freedom and Pride. As I talked to one anti-war demonstrator after another, it became obvious to me that most of these people had learned the “facts” about the Iraq War from Farenheit 9-11 and other leftist media and propoganda.
Another group of Anti-War demonstrators and speakers (which are not often considered by western thinkers) are simply those people who have been terrorized by Sadaam.
I have long wondered if UN inspector Scott Ritter falls into this catagory. Whenever someone makes an about face publicly as Ritter did, I figure either they were bribed or terrorized. (terrorized by words like – We’ll kill your grandma, run your daughter over with a truck, rape your wife, and our gestapo will kill you at some point if you don’t reverse yourself publicly about our WMD’s).
I don’t know that this happened of course, but if you google “Scott Ritter bribe”, you can get a sense of what the blogosphere has been saying about it for the past few years.
One of the reasons Sadaam was so effective at staying in power for thirty years was simply because he had no qualms about murdering anyone who stood in his way, and he knew how to control people around him. He simply raped, pillaged, and murdered to his hearts content.
Some stories I read talked about those who spoke to CNN before the war were not only murdered, but also thirty members of their immediate family were wiped out or imprisoned.
This has to have a lasting impact on the willingness of citizens to speak out to the media, and I believe it is still having an effect on the way some people speak to the American Press, on the way certain people voted in the last two elections, and on the distrust some Iraqis have for the Americans.
I believe all of these issues will be overcome when Sadaam is finally held responsible for his crimes and executed. And in time, some of the moonbats in America who have so willfully rebelled against the truth will be forced to admit they were wrong.
Some of them, like the die hards at Mothering, will never have the humility to face the truth. And some of our politicians who have been so willing to promote the lies of “no WMD”, “Halliburton”, “Joe Wilson and his wife are victims”, etc etc..will hopefully be held accountable by their voters and removed from office.
As the agendas, bribes, distortions, and conspiracies are exposed I believe the spread of Freedom and Democracy in our world will accelerate at an astonishing pace, and those who blindly believed the lies, who unquestioningly assumed the role of useful idiot, will silently slink away to the ash heap of history.
These types of people have contributed nothing, have screamed and ranted and raved while our servicemen and women have fought and died. And they have sickeningly used those deaths for their own political purposes.
It is getting close to the time when they will be exposed as the pompous nobles that they are. Al Franken, Cindy, Michael, Joe, Sadaam, Tyrants of the world….your time is up.
Today, right at this moment, the eye of the Hurricane is right over the white house. And as it rages, seemingly blowing apart President Bush’s credibility, choices, and stance, as the storm moves out to sea, and the quiet after the storm comes upon the people of the world, I hope that those with an honest heart will embrace the truth.
The truth being?
The new middle east belongs to Democracy lovers like Jesse Kaveh.
Jesse Kaveh – an Iraqi ex-pat who lost his parents when Sadaams goons stormed his home and murdered them in cold blood.

UPDATE:
Some amazing editorials were written yesterday on this topic…
Quote:
“It is also time to step up lecturing both the American people and the Iraqis on exactly what we are doing in the Sunni Triangle. We have been sleepwalking through the greatest revolutionary movement in the history of the Middle East, as the U.S. military is quietly empowering the once-despised Kurds and Shiites โ and along with them women and the other formerly dispossessed of Iraq. In short, the U.S. Marine Corps has done more for global freedom and social justice in two years than has every U.N. peacekeeping mission since the inception of that now-corrupt organization.
This is high-stakes โ and idealistic โ stuff. And the more we talk in such terms, the more the president can put the onus of cynical realism on the peace movement and the corrupt forces in the Middle East, who alike wish us to fail. Forget acrimony over weapons of mass destruction, platitudes about abstract democracy, and arguments over U.S. security strategies. Instead bluntly explain to the world how at this time and at this moment the U. S. is trying to bring equality and freedom to the unfree, in a manner rare in the history of civilization.”
Quote:
“In other words, this was a victory for freedom in Iraq, a defeat for the terrorist opponents of America and democracy in Iraq, and a great boost for the security of Americans in the United States. Yet in reporting the events of October 26th, the editors of the Los Angeles Times (and โ to be fair — the New York Times and the rest of the American mainstream media) did their best to obscure these momentous facts and to spin them in the opposite direction.
In two years, with less loss of life than we suffered on 9/11, America has liberated 25 million Iraqis, ended the most heinous tyranny of the 21st Century, inflicted terrible defeats on our terrorist enemies, and created the first democracy in the history of Islam.
The words of the President โ of Americaโs commander-in-chief โ mocked by the Times are 100% correct: โIraq has made incredible political progress from tyranny to liberation to national elections.โ Thanks to George Bush and our men and women in arms. Yet the Los Angeles Times edition of October 26, 2005 is designed to make a mockery of his leadership and his words and to turn to Americans against the war for Iraqi freedom. What a shame. What a disgrace. What a tragedy for our nation.”
