BIRD FLU ALTERNATIVE REMEDIES

Bird Flu – Alternative Remedies
Reading articles on the Avian flu these past few weeks I had the feeling that the presidents meeting with the Vaccine Manufacturers went something like this…
Uh, Mr. President, the emperor has no clothes”. (The Vaccines won’t work)
Well, buy him some!”
But President Bush, that fat, toxic, pompous man, who has been ruling the infectious disease roost has finally been exposed to be nothing more than a fraud. Don’t you think that rather than buying him some new clothes, it might be better for him to slink away in naked shame, rather than outfitting him up as an overdressed pimp?”
…Often in life the best defense is a good offense. Rather than waiting for the powers that be to tell us the flu vaccine is not going to work, and the Tamiflu drug is not really effective on the Avian virus, I believe concerned citizens would be well served to spend some quality time working on strengthening their own immunity. More on offensive measures that can be taken in a minute, but first…
We have had quite a few SCREAMING headlines these past few weeks:
The Senate has approved nearly $4 billion to stockpile medications to protect the populace against the threat of a flu pandemic.”
estimated Roche will receive $1.7 billion to $1.8 billion from the U.S government to produce Tamiflu
This CNN article had this interesting disclaimer: “The analysts interviewed for this story do not own stock in the companies mentioned here.”
There is an astonishing collection of poisons, toxic metals, chemical binders, and animal parts and juices in vaccines.”
As a consumer, I have been wondering what it is going to take to help our people understand that poison does not heal anything. Sure, you can jolt or treat an individual’s immune system with poison, chemicals, and toxic ingredients, but to actually heal damaged tissue, cleanse blood, and nurture a sick body back to wellness? Those goals are best achieved with nutrition and natural healing. Natural healing seeks to cleanse the body at the cellular level, moving toxins out of cells and nutrients back into cells.
Perhaps millions of Americans dying anyway, after all the drugs money can buy will shift the tide away from poison medicine to natural healing. Just take a look at the ingredients included in the over-advertised and under effective Tamiflu.
Tamiflu indgredients:
• Black iron oxide (E172)
• Croscarmellose Sodium
• FD and C Blue 2 (indigo carmine, E132)
• Gelatin
• Oseltamivir
• Povidone
• Pregelatinised maize starch
• Red iron oxide (E172)
• Shellac
• Sodium Stearyl Fumarate
• Talc
• Titanium dioxide (E171)
• Yellow iron oxide (E172)”
The reluctance of our pharmaceutical companies to get involved in flu vaccine manufacturing perhaps is tied to an increasing awareness that some individuals develop serious neurological side effects from taking the chemicals.
About one half of patients have a history of preceding viral infection within two to four weeks prior to exhibiting the onset of Guillain-Barré syndrome. Guillain-Barré syndrome may also be associated with immunizations…”
For years evidence has been mounting linking the Flu vaccine to serious neurological side effects. There have been occasional cases involving influenza vaccines causing Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) and other autoimmune conditions.
Guillain-Barré syndrome is a disorder in which the body’s immune system attacks part of the peripheral nervous system. The first symptoms of this disorder include varying degrees of weakness or tingling sensations in the legs. In many instances, the weakness and abnormal sensations spread to the arms and upper body. These symptoms can increase in intensity until the muscles cannot be used at all and the patient is almost totally paralyzed

I appreciate President Bush. I voted for him twice. I am still grateful he is our commander in chief. I understand and am grateful for his proactive steps in sharing information on the Bird flu and attempting to stem the tide of disease before a pandemic rages around the world. I know him to be an honest man. I think he truly believes the taxpayer money spent on upping the stockpiles of vaccines and anti-viral medicine is a great investment in the health of the American People.
If we as a people really wanted to ward off infectious disease we would focus on those measures that would strengthen immunity. Vaccines have a troubled history and presently many parents are questioning all of the chemicals being shot into the tissues of a healthy person in order to “provoke” the immune response. Many of the ingredients included in the flu vaccines are toxic.
As a parent to five unvaccinated children, I have spent years looking for ways to strengthen the immunity of my family. Here are some suggestions for anyone interested in doing some proactive things to help prevent getting any disease:
Skip Halloween
American Schoolchildren eating buckets of candy the week before the flu season starts is the absolute worst tradition of our society. For years our family stayed home and watched a movie and ate a home baked treat on Halloween night. The one year I caved to the continual whining to let the children go trick or treating everyone got the flu a couple weeks later. I let our children eat as much candy as they desired the night of Halloween and then I chucked the left over candy in the garbage.
A couple weeks later all five of them quickly descended into the whole range of symptoms. I detailed the experience in this article on the web.
A couple weeks ago when I informed my children that we would be skipping Halloween they were surprisingly amenable to the decision. I explained that we didn’t have the luxury of dumping all that sugar into our bodies with this threat of the Avian Flu looming. My eleven year old son complained a little, and I just reminded him of how sick he was the year we ate all the candy and he agreed this was a better choice.
Eat live foods!
Feed your family a fresh garden salad every day. The fall harvest is in, and vegetables are overflowing in the markets. Get a variety of colors of vegetables, chop them up and feed them raw to your kids with a yummy dressing.
Juice those same vegetables! Purchase apples, lemons, carrot, beet, celery, and cukes and juice them with some fresh greens like spinach, kale, and parsley at home for an abundance of live enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and help with proper hydration of the cells.
WATER!
Have a stock of water bottles in your home and car and make sure no one in your family leaves for the day without taking a couple of bottles to work, school, or play. Encourage your children to drink water before eating a heavy meal to help with proper digestion and hydration. Staying well hydrated during the flu season will help to prevent you getting it, and will also aid in your recovery if you do get it. Have some water simmering on the stove to put moisture in the air, or run a humidifier in your home to help with humidity in your home.
Fresh fruit
Keep your fridge stocked with fresh fruit chopped up and ready to eat. This is the perfect food for between meals, and also is great to snack on if you are ill. The fruit helps to cleanse the bowels and hydrate the cells.
If anyone in your family gets the flu:
Garlic
Eat garlic. Chop it up and put it in a little cloth wrap around your neck, put garlic in soups, on garlic toast, eat a clove of it raw, or smash it up and put it on your salad. Juice a clove of it with your vegetable juice or put a half a clove under your tongue and suck on it like a cough drop throughout the day.
Chop up three cloves of garlic and mix with Olive Oil. Paste this mix on your feet and hold it in place with some socks. This is an especially powerful treatment for children who are having trouble breathing. A very large bag of fresh garlic at Sam’s Club costs about four bucks.
Stay home!
Rest, sleep, nap, and patiently wait for your body to heal itself. If you feel the flu coming on, go to the grocery store and purchase a supply of fresh foods and bottled water. Also purchase the ingredients to make this powerhouse of a garlic soup, and then stay home!
Jenny’s Flu Soup:
2 onions
2 bulbs of garlic (about 20 cloves)
2 tablespoons sea salt
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup oatstraw tea (you may need to go to a health food store to get this)
2 tablespoons flax seed
¼ c Red Raspberry leaf tea
½ cup quinoa
1 cup brown lentils
½ cup sprouted brown lentils
2 potatoes
10 large carrots
1 tsp cumin
10 whole coriander seeds
Thyme and Oregano Essential Oils
Dried herbs of Thyme, Oregano, and Parsley
Directions for soup:
Cook onions, garlic, and olive oil in a pot. Add in chopped potatoes, carrots, and one Tablespoon of the sea salt. Let this cook for a few minutes, then add in the Quinoa, and sprouted lentils. (Sprouted lentils have the highest concentration of vitamin C of any food). To sprout lentils just cover a half cup of them with water over night. Drain in the morning and keep them wet until a ¼ inch tendril of sprout is detected. (This takes about 35 hours)
Fill a separate pot with two quarts of water to make soup stock. Add in the peels from the garlic, flaxseed, oatstraw, raspberry leaf tea, one tablespoon of the sea salt, and the peels from the carrots and potatoes. Bring the stock up to a hard boil for twenty minutes.
Cover the cup of brown lentils with water in a bowl. After soaking them for a few minutes, add the lentils and the water to the soup.
After the stock is finished boiling, strain the liquid into the soup pot. Recover the stock vegetables with another 2 quarts of water, and bring to a boil. Once again, strain the stock vegetables and add that liquid to the pot of soup. This ensures that the maximum amount of nutrients from the herbs, vegetable peels, and salt will be included in the stock. This stock is chock full of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.
Add in the ten whole Coriander seeds. Cover the pot and let simmer for three hours.
To finish the soup, add in the drops of Essential oils of Thyme and Oregano (one or two drops of each) – Therapeutic grade oils are best and then toss in the dried herbs.
