I have not commented on the war yet, didn’t know what to say. But I have spent many hours reading. Best stuff in my opinion is at Truth Laid Bear, they have links to Israeli and Lebanese bloggers.

Anyone who has followed the news knows that a confrontation with Iran was looming. I feel this is just another front on the war on terror. It is simply time to free the slaves from the tyrants who rule.
No fear, no hand wringing, no appeasement, and no capitulation. It is simply time for the terrorists, war mongers, and dictators in our world to realize that their time is over.
I just re-read The Chosen by Chaim Potok. It was a good book to read at this particular time. To be reminded of the amazing sacrifices that took place to establish the state of Israel, the first democracy in the middle east. I wept as I read the story of Daniel and Reuben for the umpteenth time. Such a classic!
My heart is with the people of Israel. I completely support their right to defend themselves against terrorists. I am also praying for the innocent who live in the middle east, who are struggling under the hands of tyrants and tyrannies.
May Heavens blessings be upon all of those who are fighting for the light of democracy in that blighted part of the world.
