Here is a roundup of the stories I found interesting on the web the past few days: (with a tiny bit of commentary)

The Dear Leader’s
Little Nuke

I am really concerned with the general tone of the Blogophere on this story. Wishful thinking and “it couldn’t possibly have been a nuke” sorts of analysis are the wrong way to approach this topic. What we need in our country is a massive civil defense outreach and preparation by individual families for Nuclear Terror.

Second-generation Antipsychotic Medications Appear To Offer Little Advantage Over Older Drugs

And finally the Onion asks it’s readers…
Now, I know you mommas out there are so much smarter than all these formula financed researchers. You just keep eating your whole foods and nursing your babies with mommas milk, and when your little one grows up to be smart enough NOT to buy all the chemical junk that is being shoved on the populace, you just pat yourself on the back and know that you gave your child the very best that life has to offer…
