I grew up in Detroit and attended the LDS congregation where the Romney Family worshipped, so it is really fun to see him doing so well in my home state, where the Romney family is loved and revered for the great people they are. (Unlike a certain shrewish candidate from Arkansas who had to run from the locals who knew all about her and her slimy husband and carpet bag to New York to get a chance of being elected to a position of power.)

UPDATE: 8:50PM Just received this email from the Romney camp:

We did it!
Today, Michigan voters went to the polls and cast their ballots for conservative change in Washington, change the American people are demanding.
They voted for my vision for strengthening America and changing Washington, and I’m humbled and grateful for their support.
The win in Michigan tonight was important for a few reasons. It means I have the momentum going into Nevada and South Carolina and a clear path to victory moving forward. I’m still the candidate with the most votes of all the Republicans, and the candidate who places first or second in each of the four caucuses and primaries so far.
For these reasons and more, I’m very optimistic that we will win the Republican nomination and the Presidency in November.”
