UPDATE:
Dr. Phil decided NOT to have Ann on his show. Not sure why, especially given the fact that for the past two days he has railed against a single mother of fourteen without even once delving into the long term consequences of all of those children being raised without a father and then set loose on society.
If you would like to protest Dr. Phil tucking tail and running from the moral questions around single motherhood, please contact his guest coordinator to object!

The most important issues beyond money, health, and the immediate concerns inherent in one third of our young mothers choosing to give birth without a husband are in fact the long term consequences on our society and the fallout from so many children being denied a loving father in their lives.
Dr. Phil is a coward because he knows the debate will be long, painful, and controversial and he might risk offending his base viewers and advertisers by having Ann and her moral views on his show.
Shame on you Dr. Phil. Right is right and if we can’t be honest about the massive problems single mothers choices will have on the long term health of our nation, why bother talking about a woman with fourteen children? Why not have twenty? Thirty? A Million? No, wait, that is what we have in America, 1.3 million children being born every year without a father in the home. If you don’t have the guts to stand up and say that is WRONG, you should not be judging anything on your show.
Our children and grandchildren deserve to know the truth about family life.
And without the adults standing up and saying boldly “Choosing to bring a child into the world without being married is WRONG”, our daughters will never understand the suffering and pain they are shoving on innocent children.

Dr. Phil is going to have Ann Coulter on his show.
ANN COULTER says, “Look at almost any societal problem and you will find it is really a problem of single mothers.”
“By their own choices, [single mothers] consign their children to starting life with second-class status.”
“We also have a term for the youngsters involved: ‘the children of divorce,’ or as I call them, ‘future strippers.”
Are you a single mother with a strong opinion about ANN COULTER’S comments on single motherhood?
Do you feel like your child or children are “starting life with second-class status” because you are a single mother?
Are you a child of a single mother and take offense when Ann calls you a “future stripper?”
Or do you feel single motherhood is indeed a “plague,” and that all social programs and welfare help to support single-mother households?
Do you think it is unfair that your tax dollars go to support so many single mothers?
If you have a strong opinion on ANN COULTER and what she says about single mothers, please let us know.
PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU ARE WILLING TO APPEAR ON A SHOW WITH DR. PHIL!
Hey Ladies! Have at it – Contact the Dr. Phil show if you would like to confront Ann Coulters Claims about single motherhood in her new book Guilty!
I would encourage all of you to read the book first though to understand the issues.
My husband bought me her book Guilty for my birthday last week and I have read the chapter on single mothers. It is the battle cry for children to have the love and nurture they DESERVE from a Father. I applaud Ann for her powerful and factual focus on the family.
The children of the future deserve nothing less than the love and tender nurture from a mother and a father who love and provide for them and have the marriage covenant wrapped around them.
I wholeheartedly endorse Ann’s book Guilty as a powerful antidote to pop cultural messages and court decisions that have eroded family sovereignty, and I applaud Dr. Phils decision to air the debate on television, it should be a wonderful and educational hour of television.
After Dan Quayle was borked by the media in 1992 on this issue, conservatives tucked tail and ran whenever the issue of single motherhood was brought up. It is time to stand up for the family and share the facts with our young people. The babies of the future are depending on us to tell the truth to the mothers and fathers of tomorrow!
