We Had Abortions Petition!
As a survivor of Adult Rape and Incestuous Sexual Abuse, I am all for Women who have been raped having the right to get an abortion, and I want that abortion to be safe, legal, and the choice of the woman involved.
But I have to wonder about the intentions of the Ms. Magazine Editors with their petition for the We Had Abortions campaign.
I’m not sure that publicly declaring the fact that you ripped life out of your womb is healthy, normal, or empowering. Many women who have had abortions suffer horrible guilt and trauma, often years after the fact.
This excellent Essay from the late Jeannine Baker, is a timely rebutal.
A Spiritual Feminist Ethic on Abortion & Conception:
Woman is Shakti
by Jeannine Parvati Baker
“Arising from the Great Cosmic Song are the growing voices of feminists who respect
life in all its forms–even down to the “unplanned” pregnancies. For too long the
spiritual communities of the pagans and the yogis, the two philosophies I have
studied for many years, have neglected to re-vision abortion.
Lingering still is the rationalization that an “unwanted” child somehow was worse
than abortion–that a “fast death” was better than an entire lifetime of feeling
“unwanted” (with a personal history filled with emotional and/or physical abuse
from immature, irresponsible parents). It seems to me that abortion really is the
ultimate child abuse. And death, whether it be fast or slow, is still death.
In fact, I have left particular “spiritual” communities because of this basic anti-life,
pessimistic perspective on abortion. It seemed to me that on the most primal level, a
person has much more to learn about spirituality by accepting WHAT-IS (i.e., a
pregnancy) than by forcefully “re-cycling” the soul (i.e., terminating the baby). And
besides, having an abortion undermines any and all possibilities of changing the
culture’s basic anti-life/anti-children attitude; much less a personal miracle, wherein
the reluctant parents-to-be learn to accept their coming child.
Allow me first to first turn my attention to the Yoga community wherein it is all too
common for women yogis (yoginis) to abort their babies so that they can get on with
the “real” spiritual work: i.e., a meditation practice. Babies are sometimes seen as a
distraction to a heroic spiritual practice.”

Sounds like an Effexor Murder, but could have been Zoloft
Pajamas Media Link
Amish Shooting
Rest in Peace Girls!
It sounds like an Effexor Case…

But could have been Zoloft:

From Ann Blake Tracy:
There were MANY clues in this case! This is the list I sent to the reporters
covering this case:
You have a normal, average guy who is even a good husband and father, who,
out of the blue, goes on a shooting rampage.
You have the horrifying and vivid nightmares that become so real that you
cannot tell the difference between them and reality.
You have a fellow who clearly began acting out the nightmares he was having
– technically known as a REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD). We now know that
86% of RBD is antidepressant-induced or perhaps more politically correct
would be to say that we know that 86% of those being diagnosed with this are on
antidepressants.
You have the reason for most docs to give one of the drugs due to the way
Charles Roberts felt about losing his baby daughter.
You have a fellow who is armed to the hilt – the overkill is very common in
these cases. For some time I have wondered if the AK-47 or other rapid fire
weapons and mountains of ammo come with the prescriptions!
You have Charles Roberts stating that even his happier moments would turn
to anger – most patients say that is the only feeling they can feel after a
while on the drugs.
You have the rambling suicide notes that make little to no sense at all
indicating he had gone completely psychotic on the drug.
You have the claims of molesting people who are completely unaware that it
ever happened and have now denied it ever happened – signs of hallucinating,
which higher levels of serotonin produce.
You also have another sign of high serotonin – the thoughts of pedophilia –
yes that is scientifically documented. Why do you think we have so much
pedophilia now to insure Bill O’Reilly’s job of chasing sex abusers on Fox News?
Oh my, what would Bill do without these drugs?
You also have reports coming from Sarah Glick, the little old Amish woman
who runs Glick’s Heath Store, that he was preparing to visit one of her
daughters, who are natural practitioners (both lost family members in this tragedy)
because he was sick of how he was feeling and wanted to try the natural way.
Doesn’t that indicate to you he had tried the medical way and it was not
working?
So, has anyone asked if he was taking Vitamin P (Prozac or Paxil), or
Vitamin Z (Zoloft) , etc.? I say this because so few people even seem to consider
these drugs. AMAZING! But true. Of course now we have Vitamin E (Effexor)
which has “homicidal ideation” listed as a side effect. Definition of homicidal
ideation would be continuous ruminating thoughts of killing. Nice side effect,
huh? Did wonders for Andrea Yates at the maximum dose!
Sorry if I sound a little cynical, I am just so tired of seeing SO MANY
needless deaths. All I had to do was open the Lancaster, PA today and there was
yet another case of a fellow on these drugs, Steven Musser, beating a man to
death and having no recall – just like patients on these drugs report. When
you do these things in your sleep, how are you suppose to remember?

How many more students and innocent civilians need to DIE before Congress pulls these drugs??
President Bush was in Colorado yesterday and announced that he was going to have some people investigate the school shootings to see if some solution is available.
I’m so sick of my children leaving my home afraid that some drug crazed lunatic is going to burst into the school to try to kill them.
Yesterday when I picked my children up from school my ten year old was telling me what he would do if someone broke into his classroom.
I am so sad that my son has to even think about these issues when he goes to school.
President Bush, Open up the floodgates by opening up your mind to the idea that the Drug Companies have been guilty of Murder for Profit and let the facts speak for themselves…

I praise God that I did not kill anyone while I was in my drug induced haze. I pray that the truth will come out about these drugs over the next couple of weeks, and that the American Public will have the courage to face the truth before one more schoolchild is murdered…
Contents of Jenny Hatchs 72 Hour Kit and BackPack with Video Commentary

Here are two video clips demonstrating the contents of my own personal 72 Kit backpack and one of my childrens food kits. These materials are designed to help motivate others to prepare with emergency supplies to be prepared to evacuate their homes.
In this video I share the contents of my own backpack, with an emphasis on infant care, which is always the number one needed supplies during any emergency.

In this clip I go through the contents of one of my sons Food Kits. Each person in our family has one of these lunch kits that contains enough food to last for 72 hours. Three days is generally the amount of time that it takes for emergency services to arrive after an emergency. The point of this kit is to provide a bridge from the emergency to the time when help arrives. I purchased all of the food for our kits at Wal Mart.

Lotus Birth – A Ritual for our Times
Dr Sarah J Buckley 2005
Introduction
“Lotus birth is the practice of leaving the umbilical cord uncut, so that the baby remains attached to his/her placenta until the cord naturally separates at the umbilicus, exactly as a cut cord does, at three to ten days after birth. This prolonged contact can be seen as a time of transition, allowing the baby to slowly and gently let go of their attachment to the mother’s body.”

We had a Lotus Home Birth with our Son Benjamin. He stayed attached to his cord for six days. I wrote a book titled A Lotus Birth detailing his pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, with a chapter on cord care and tips for Unassisted Home Birth. This book was written for those couples who would like to have as holistic a birth as possible in the sanctity of their own homes!
