My oldest daughter Michelle left home to attend school out of state this year.

I miss her more than words can say.  She was my daily companion for so long that when she left it felt like a hole was carved out of my heart and shipped over to Utah.

She stayed home these past four years and worked as a Nanny.  I was very ill and she helped so much with my work of Mothering Benjamin that she is like a second mother to him.  Ben has also struggled as he adjusted to his Shelly being gone.

The other day I put together a montage of her life as a birthday present.
